Today, Mother was holding a trial of the six traitors. The captured Dark Fae were not included in this, nor was Mother making an announcement that we had captured any. She didn't want Lord Umbra to think she still had them, in the same way, she wasn't announcing we had captured Evangelos, our Father, her mate.

The Dark Fae were still in antimagic cells, being tortured. I didn't think we would gain any information from torture. In the books I read while in the Mundane Realm, the widely accepted view on the effectiveness of torture for obtaining reliable information was that it was unreliable.

While torture could elicit information, it was often unreliable due to the extreme duress the individual underwent. In other words, anything they told us was probably false. Besides, it was common knowledge that Lord Umbra loved to torture his own people, and his methods were horrific.
