Wrapping my hands around her torso, I pressed her against me. She felt so small in my arms as if she would melt into my arms once I hug her a bit harder. The last time I hugged her was when she was feeling homesick and crying like a child. It had been months since I sensed how she felt to me. My heartbeats raced faster and I felt her hugging me back.

Pulling her away immediately, I brushed my gaze down with a bit of embarrassment.

"Sorry, I got a bit excited", I said, scratching my head and peeking at her. She was giggling, to my surprise.

"No problem. But I can't promise you", she said as a touch of embarrassment vanished from my face. I looked at her properly and smiled.

"You said it. That's more than enough for me", I stood up as she passed me a smile. Zoya wasn't an easy girl to consider things. However, she agreed to try something for Nikhat. It showed that she cared about my request.
