Chapter 8

When Theodore heard William's words, he was shocked. He knew William's capabilities very well.

For many years, William had defended him from various attacks.

Ten years ago, William had sealed his scimitar in its scabbard, for he couldn't encounter anyone worthy of unsheathing his blade.

Was Frederick's murderous intent strong enough that William would be forced to draw his scimitar, which he hadn't taken out in ten years?

"Could it be that Mr. York is a very skilled fighter?

"How much of a difference is there between you and him?"

William said in a stern voice, "His strength is unfathomable. If we fight, I may very well lose my life."

Theodore took in a sharp breath. He only knew that Frederick's medical skills were outstanding, but he didn't expect Frederick to be such a skilled fighter as well.

He asked William, "What do you think if Vivianne gets married to him?"

William pondered for a moment. Then, he nodded firmly. "It could take the Danburys to greater heights."
