As Celine stumbled out of the doctor's office, her mind raced with a rapid flow of emotions. The news of her pregnancy had thrown her world into disarray, leaving her feeling lost and alone.

She couldn’t think straight, and for a second, she had to lean on the wall for support, afraid that she would faint.

“Are you okay?” A nurse passing by suddenly asked, and Celine had to fake a smile and nod.

“Are you sure?”

Celine nodded and stood up properly as she tried to regain her composure. “I am alright. Thank you for asking,” she responded. The nurse nodded to her and left her alone, much to her relief.

Fuck. What should I do? A child? God, I have been so careless! I shouldn’t have let myself get carried away with my emotions, especially now!

Caline was disciplining herself internally. The relationship that she and Callahan have right now is not ideal.
