CHAPTER 33

ANIKA'S POV:-

I woke up in the morning and found myself still on the ground. But instead of lying on the damped ground, I was lying on a wooden bench and I was covered with a warm comforter. I sat up on the bench and folded the comforter. I stood up and went into the house. I went straight to my bedroom. I set the comforter on my bed and stepped into the bathroom. I peeled my clothes off of my body and hopped into the shower. I washed my body and my hair. Once done, I stepped out of the shower. I brushed my teeth and stepped out of the bathroom. 

I stood in the window and dried my hair in the sunlight. My hair was actually longer in those six months. Adam did not let my hair grow longer than he liked. He always trimmed my hair. I remembered begging him not to trim my hair. But he never actually listened to me. At least I had my own life and I was allowed to do whateve
