CHAPTER 42

ANIKA'S POV:-

It had been almost thirteen hours since I had told him the truth. I was not in the position to say or hear anything, so I ran out of my bedroom. After that, he suddenly announced to move. I did not know what to do or say. Lucas was the one who told me that I would be going with the pack. At least I was relieved that he was not kicking me out of the pack. But I wanted him to say something. I was in his car, as I did not have any. The others had their cars and trucks. In those thirteen hours, three hours of packing and loading and almost ten hours of riding, he was driving and I had my eyes fixed with the road too. None of us said a single word. The silence was starting to kill me. I wanted to ask him. But every time I opened my mouth, not a single word came out of my mouth.
