There was no way on this earth where Louis would turn out to be my mate, my mind was just playing tricks on me… or better still, Lia, my wolf was just playing tricks on me.

‘I wish i was, Venn…’ Her soft voice echoed in my head, the pain had stopped and Kai with Ava beside me were holding me in place, everyone still had worried looks on them.

“A.. are you alright?” Ava asked, her brows puffing up, Louis had a glare pinned to Kai, fucking asshole.

“Yes.” I swallowed, sitting upright and Ava with Kai let go of me and returned to their earlier positions. “I must have taken something bad earlier that affected my stomach, but I’m fine now I promise.”

Jane still looked unsure but after everyone moved on and continued the game, she had no choice but to do the same.

‘Lia?’ I called out beneath me, trying to reach out to her, the revelation must have physically drained her because I couldn’t feel her as much as i di
