“Took you guys long enough.” Mia rolled her eyes, Jane looked frustrated as she came with Kai and Ava.

“There’s a penalty for staying for more time than expected.” Lisa gave them a soft glare.

“Let me guess, a cone of icecream?” Kai said in a smug as he took back his seat next to Louis, Ava had red blush stains all over her checks and from Jane’s expression, she didn’t see anything. I wondered what exactly they did there to make Ava look this red and… terrified.

“Nope.” Lisa shook her head. “Double the price you paid me earlier.”

Kai’s head whipped to me in a rush like he was too shocked that a girl this small could be this sneaky. “I thought you said you were taking a kid out today? Keyword being ‘kid’ Lisa here is a grown aldut.” His voice had laughter attached to it.
