Four.

"Really, What a coincidence." Owen's innocent smile would never make one suspect him. "Would you like to sit with us then? I really love your company." He asked with such clear eyes and a beautiful smile that Sophia found herself nodding.

"Great!" Owen grinned before walking away.

"Oh my God! What just happened?" Skyler asked her eyes widely opened. Unfortunately, she does not have a Biology class with Sophia.

"I don't know." Sophia whispered as she bit her lower lips. This morning when she woke up, she planned to be as invincible as the word can get, but here she is, getting attracted to a boy who is a part of the school most popular group. Not only is her heart and body acting weird, but she is also even agreeing to sit with them in a class! 'What a mess.' She regretted her head which had moved without letting her brain process and think of all the cons involved with her sitting with them.

"I know I said I am rooting for you to be the first girl in their click, but girl, I like you alright. I really wouldn't want to see you get hurt." Skylar looked around as she went closer, "Take a look at them. They are all so surreal, like a painting brought to life. And some of the ladies too, you must have noticed right, those girls who sat all through lunch glaring at you looks like the perfect fit for them. Don't get me wrong Sophia, you are perfect, God you even look like you should be seated with them and not me! God knows if I were to swing this way, I would be looking for ways to eat you out until the whole school hears you screaming my name." Sophia found it weird that she blushed hard. No one has ever been so blunt with her. She wondered if she was meant to say thank you or not. "I guess what I am trying to say is, it is okay to like them, to crush on them. The whole school does, what wouldn't be okay if for you to let yourself be vulnerable, to let yourself go. And I know it might end up like one of those cheesy high school happily ever after romance stories or you end up losing yourself. This is high school, don't let your memories of it be dark ones okay." For the first time since they met this morning, Sophia took the first initiative of hugging her.

"How are you so filled with surprises?" Sophia asked as Skylar tightened her hold on Sophia.

"I know right, I am just too unique." Skylar chuckled before pulling away. "You smell great and all, but if I do not rush now, I will be late for class. Now get your cute ass going too." Skylar winked as she ran toward her lecture room.

Sophia smiled before turning in the opposite direction for her class too.

As soon as she left, a shadow came out of hiding and watched her with gloomy eyes.

"Hi, I was just thinking of going to find you." Owen had waved at Sophia as soon as she went into the class. She had to walk toward where they were all seated.

"Sorry, I had something to do." She blinked noticing the position of the sit kept for her. She was meant to sit in between Owen and the guy whom she has been unable to rid herself from thinking about.

Sophia's POV

"Where are my manners? Sophia, meet Wyatt, Caius, and Alexios." Wyatt is the blonde curled haired guy who had asked me a question. Caius is the brown haired one, and Alexios. 'Even his name sound so good.'

"Guys Sophia." Owen smiled showing his cute dimples. A feature of him that I found myself admiring. I just wished he kept on smiling.

"Nice you meet you Sophia." Wyatt and Caius spoke smiling at me.

"It is a great pleasure to meet you Sophia." The way his eyes stayed on mine, his tone, everything about him made me feel like there was something else, another meaning in his words. I stared back at him, his green eyes pulling me in, I felt vulnerable in his gaze. It was as though he could read my every thoughts and can see what is hidden under my skin.

Blinking, I hastily looked away. 'What is wrong with me?' I questioned myself as I fought the urge to look at him again. What would they think of me?

"Nice to meet you all." I remembered I hadn't responded to them so I did, although my eyes were forcefully made to stay on Wyatt and Caius. They were all so good looking, they all had their unique charms but why am I so attracted to the green eyed boy whose eyes had remained on me?

Biology class was torturously slow, I could feel his eyes on me all through the class and all I wanted was to just escape. The feeling was too overwhelming. I would normally feel disgust and uncomfortable when I am been stared at so openly and without shame, hence why I wear a hoodie and try to stay out of people's sight. But with him, I felt different, sort of empowered. I loved the fact that he wasn't ashamed to stare at me, that his gaze hadn't left me, I loved him looking at me.

"So what class do you have next?" Owen asked as he grinned at me.

I took out my lecture timetable to check and he took it from me.

"What are the odds?" He asked chuckling, "We have all classes together." Grinning he returned the piece of paper to me.

"What?" How can that be? Skylar said they all take classes together, so if I have the same classes with Owen, doesn't that mean I have the same classes with him?!

No...no...no... I cannot. If I keep taking classes with him, I will just fail!

"Hey, are you okay? You look like you just saw a ghost." Owen waved his hands in my front.

"You mean we have same classes all week?" I asked and he nodded.

"Yes, we do. Do not tell me you don't want to attend classes together with me. I am hurt." Owen made an exaggerated look.

Am I going to fail my final year? I cannot concentrate when I have same classes as he does.

And true to my fears, all the remaining classes were just like Biology. Unable to escape sitting with them, I had to sit through it.

"Should we drop you off?" Owen asked.

"No, thanks. I will be fine." I refuse to be in the same space as him any longer than this. Nodding they all walked away towards a car.

"Sophia." I had the familiar voice call me. Waving at her, Skylar walked over to me.

"You were with them." She nodded in their direction and I sighed.

"I have same classes as them." I told her. The coincidence was baffling.

"Hold on, you mean the same subject and same period?" She asked with an open mouth.

"That's insane." I nodded in agreement. I cannot believe just how lucky I am.

"They definitely hate you now." I looked in the direction she was watching and saw those girls from earlier glaring hatefully at me.

Sighing, "This will be one fun year." I just cannot believe how ridiculous my day had turned out to be.

"Oh, how I love you and your sarcasm. My mom is here now, should we drop you or do you have a ride home?" Skylar asked.

"My mom should be here anytime now." Nodding, she hugged me and whispered, "Stay alive when I am gone. Don't let them kill you with their eyes okay." I chuckled and nodded.

I doubt they will kill me and leave so much evidence.

Luckily I didn't need to wait for long before Mom's car pulled in. "How was your day today honey?" Mom asked as I got into the car.

"Exciting." She frowned as she glanced my way.

"Is everything okay? Were you bullied at school?" I laughed as I didn't understand how and why she will translate my response into being bullied.

"No Mom, I wasn't bullied. I made a friend actually or maybe two friends. Skylar and Owen." I would have told her about Wyatt, Caius, and Alexios, but I didn't have much interaction with them. And I didn't think it right to refer to Alexios as a friend.

"That's strange. But I like it. You should have introduced them to me." Mom pouted.

"I met them today mom, don't you think making an introduction would be a bit too much? And besides they left already." I told her before settling into the car and closing my eyes to take a nap except I was hunted by a pair of green eyes. The thought of him swallowed me whole.
