Adalyn All that's around me is darkness. I tried to open my eyes, but I felt so weak. I needed to get back to Rainn, that was the only thought running through my head. Adalyn When I woke up, I swung my hand over to Rainns side. He was not there, and the bed was only slightly warm. I figured he was downstairs making breakfast for us, so I headed into the bathroom, did my business and got dressed for the day. Rainn "It's Malik." As soon as those words came out of my mouth Adalyn lost it. I threw the car in reverse and peeled out of the parking lot, heading home as fast as I could. Adalyn I was so confused about what was going on, "Wait who's coming?" Rainn had a deadly look on his face, "Beherit and his demons and they aren't coming for tea." I straightened my back, I was scared to death, but I wouldn't let it show, not in front of everyone. Rainn started barking orders at everyone to make sure all the defenses were up and running and for everyone to meet in the War Room in forty-five minutes. He then grabbed my hand and took me back into the house, up the stairs, and into our room. "This may not be ideal timing, but I need you right now", he said. He started stripping my workout clothes off and tracing his fingers down my arms and onto my stomach. "Shouldn't we be helping them?" TRIGGER WARNING Tabby All I see and feel is darkness. I have no idea how long I've been here. I remember leaving the bar and not feeling very good, but after that, nothing until I came to. The one man that I never wanted to see again was in front of me when I first opened my eyes. My ankle is chained, and, in the beginning, I could move around, but now I'm barely awake.
