After talking to Leo, Ava fell into a deep slumber, and by the time she opened her eyes again, the world had already darkened outside.

The moment he heard some movements from the bed, Leo turned off his laptop and walked towards the bed.

He asked in his husky voice, “You are awake?”

Ava’s mind was still muddled from the sleep and when she heard the question, she subconsciously nodded.

“Are you okay? Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?”

Ava finally came back to her senses when she heard the familiar voice. She remembered someone telling her over the phone that they would come to see her in the evening. So, he had really kept his promise.
