Chapter 117

Lexie’s POV

It wasn’t quite morning when I heard Tyler’s voice talking to someone and as I listened, I realized that his men had arrived. Rolling over in the bed I watched him as he was giving the man on the other end of the line orders. He was in his element and he was used to people listening to him, unlike myself.

Tyler looked over at the bed and he saw my eyes on him and he quickly finished the call as he walked over to the bed to me. With a groggy morning voice, I asked him, “What time is it?”

“It’s almost four am. Why don’t you go back to sleep and I will wake you later.” Tyler said to me as he sat on the edge of the bed and ran his fingers through my hair and I closed my eyes relishing his gentle touch. I knew it was wrong of me to love the feel of it but my body was craving him and what he was doing was innocent or at least that was what I was telling myself.

“Will you hold me in your arms again till I fall back to sleep.” I asked him as I curled up in the blanket. Tyl
