Verania's Point of View

It felt like my steps doubled in speed when Ma'am Charlotte ordered me to follow Ares and see where he went.

After all, he shouldn’t be wandering off alone, even if it’s just within the compound.

I caught sight of him entering the mansion of Mr. Thaddeus Montero, their grandfather, so I did the same and followed him inside.

He walked straight ahead until he entered a room. I approached slowly and as soon as I saw the entirety of the room, I was immediately amazed.

The room was a library, and I felt like I was transported to the 18th century because of the decor. I'm not usually into books, but the place was delightful to behold.

But before I could get completely lost in roaming around with my eyes, I refocused on searching for Ares.

With each step, my eyes darted around to find him, and my vision brightened when I spotted him at a desk by the window.

He looked like an actor, lost in thought by the window. He was staring outside, resting his chin on his hand.
