Kaizen's POV

We came back from the pack borders earlier than I expected. By the time Zane and I had gotten there, the pack guards had finally managed to kill the stupid rogue. He was lucky I didn't get my hands on him.

He would have died a more painful and miserable death. I would make sure of that. After killing more than half of them over the years, they still didn't know when to stop. I guess they'll never stop. They kill out of instinct. After losing their human side, their wolves go ballistic and go on a killing spree.

'Not like you're any better than them.' A voice snapped in my head, making me growl out. Zane looked at me in confusion but he didn't say anything. Thankfully.

I was fuming that the rogue had actually managed to enter my pack without any of the warriors knowledge. Shows how careless they took their jobs. I don't tolerate weakness from my workers and one mistake would cost them their job. I was one of the few Alphas who paid their workers, and not just in small
