13~Craving Another Man's Touch

Aurora's POV

As soon as I locked the door of my room, a loud sob ripped out of my throat. My chest felt heavy and constricted painfully as everything that happened rushed down to me all at once.

Kaizen had proven my greatest fear. He was just like them. I was so foolish to think that he would change because of me. He was a heartless monster who doesn't have sympathy for anyone. He had put his hands on me. He was a monster like them.

What crime did I commit that the moon goddess had to punish me this way? Never in my life can I recall a moment that I had been happy for a whole day. Something or someone will rip that happiness away from me within a blink of an eye. Was I cursed to never be happy? Or was it just the moon goddess who despises me?
