Chapter 10: THE ENCOUNTER

The first day of being in a new school sucks. Oh! where did we stop? That's right, my Dad had to change my school because of his political ambitions. Dad is running for Senator and that means he could not afford to let his only child taint the good image and his career. Covering my ears, I screamed, " Can I just drop out of school, it wouldn't be a bad idea, Dad has the money and everything I need to rely on". "You know what I always say, doing what is right shouldn't feel like a punishment".

Without a doubt, Linda has always been a source of encouragement for me but right now all I need is to stay out of school. Not to forget, last night was a blast, I had a party with Gil and some of the guys at school where we danced and drank and you could guess Mae was there as well.
