What happened?

At the hospital, Hazel sighed as she watched the clock in her father's wardroom waiting for him, she heard the guards outside greeting someone and when the door clicked open, her mother walked in with a basket of meal smiling at her. Hazel sighed as she rolled her blue eyes and looked away.

Grace folds her lips, she gently walks towards the bedside table and drops the basket before walking towards Hazel.

“ I was expecting you, Alex told me he would call you over” she cut in for Grace to sigh sitting down close to Hazel who moved to give them space.

“ Sure he will, I don’t need your consolation, I’ve been with him through thick and thin, so I’m enough for him to go through it.” She said for Grace to smile.

“ you don’t know my favorite. Don’t act like you do” Hazel said for Grace to smile.
