Chapter 10: The price of Trust

Almost an hour had passed, rummaging through more than half of the dump, but the two couldn't find anything.

Uri wiped his sweat, and was about to change to another place, when Alex said: "Let's go back."

"Huh? We haven't found it yet!?" Uri looked at the small piles of trash behind and spoke up.

"It's useless. We can't find it."

"Why... Why do you think so?"

Alex took off his gloves and threw them in the dump. Perhaps his speculation was wrong. He seemed to have overestimated Neil Royce's intelligence.

"Didn't you say the necklace fell here?"

Alex faintly replied: "It's just speculation. I seem to have overestimated your friend. Maybe your friend hasn't been there yet. The necklace may have been lost before, while your friend struggles with someone. If he really had come here and intentionally left the necklace behind, we should have found it soon.
