Chapter 30: Sore

Didn't know through how many paths, how many twists and turns, Uri's legs lost their senses, but he kept thrusting forward. In front of were corridors, deep paths, as if there was no end.

*Whir!!!*

Suddenly there was the sound of wind coming from behind him, then Uri felt his spine go cold. In his mind, he thought it was not good, and before he could turn around to see what it was, his left leg suddenly felt like it was being pushed hard by something. Uri staggered a few steps and fell to the ground.

Uri hugged his writhing legs on the ground. He knew they had caught up now, and he knew what his outcome would be if caught.

No!

He gotta run! Even with his last breath, he still had to run!

Uri's face was pale, and his chest rose and fell constantly. He gritted his teeth to suppress the pain in his leg and staggered to his feet. Uri shuffled forward and didn't look back even once.

But he had only just "run" a few small steps, then he felt as if one of his remaining legs was being merc
