Chapter 05

So today that day had come when Heer was going to be Emir’s. After a few hours, both of them were about to be in a relationship. In such a bond that no one could separate them. A sacred bond was now about to be tied. A word of God was about to be fulfilled once again that the man would be separated from his parents and by marrying a woman they would become one flesh.

Heer was very happy today. No one could even guess her happiness, after all she was going to marry the one whom she loved very much.  She had known him since her mother had passed away and they changed town.

By now she was ready and had come to church. She saw Emir standing at a distance in front of Jesus. He was looking really very handsome in his black tuxedo. His blonde hair perfectly gelled and settled backwards. Emerald eyes, scanning Heer from up to down. That's what he always wanted to see—Heer in a wedding gown. His lips stretched into a smile when he saw her smiling at him.

Wearing a white sleeveless gown, she looked like an angel. Some patterns were scattered over the white silk. The cloth looked like a waterfall from below. Long veil was covering half of her face, leaving her lips and chin part. Her chocolate eyes were down, raised up only once when she felt an urge to glance at her handsome groom. He couldn't help but chuckle softly when he saw her bride's curiosity.

Reaching him and standing in front of him, she gave him a light lipped smile. Both were nervous, after all. The heartbeat of both of them is as if knocking on each other's ears. Getting married is also not an easy thing. A huge responsibility is felt on the shoulders. And the condition of both was now a bit nervous.

In no time, the priest also began to perform the rituals. Prayers were held, promises were made, oaths were taken and finally the priest allowed the groom to kiss the bride.

Now the running hearts of both of them had calmed down a bit. They were satisfied and happy, because after this day, nobody was going to separate them.

Emir picked up her veil, revealing her pink face. Smiling at her, he moved further but in a millisecond, they were torn away from each other after they heard a loud thudding sound of a gunshot.

Both of them did not understand for a moment what had just happened. The mind could not even guess.

There was an uproar in the church. Without knowing where this sound came from, people started running to save their lives. In a few moments the whole church was empty, only Heer, Emir and their family were left.

And some tall and bulky men entered the church, following a Greek god.

The man held everyone's attention. He was tall and dominant from his aura. His flaming amber eyes were only staring at Heer, like a lion stares at its deer prey. His single buttoned black suit was showing his perfect slim body through it, and his every graceful step was scaring her as his amber eyes never left her nervous form.

Emir recognised him. He knew who he was. CEO of DTLs. But he couldn’t understand why he was here!

Did he come here to take revenge? But there was no fault of Emir and Heer in that. Emir did not even want to sell his company and now that man had come to create havoc in exchange for that company?

That man coming to church like this, staring at Heer as his victim, looking at Emir with hate in his eyes, all these indicated something very dangerous. Something terrible was about to happen and everyone could understand this. Keeping an eye on Heer only gave Emir a deep fear. He was scared and did not want anything to happen to Heer. And the sharp eyes of that man were so dangerous that he was scaring Heer just by his glare.

Without waiting for a second, Emir immediately came in front of Heer, facing his back towards Heer. The man also reached there and a smirk played on his lips when he saw Emir was trying to save Heer from him. So smart of Emir! He immediately understood the man's intentions.

All were utterly confused, except Emir, he knew that the man wanted to harm Heer because Emir refused to sell his company to the man, but he won't let him do anything to her. Emir's family thought the same but Yusuf was nervous, trembling and gulping hard after seeing those amber eyes. Maybe he knew the man.

A father is very much attached to his daughter, but seeing his daughter in such danger, he could not do anything. He had to think a thousand times before taking any step. One wrong decision, and the lives of two people were definitely in danger.

"Impressive…" the man smirked at him, but at the very next moment, his expressions hardened, "But… she's MINE!"

She frowned but shivered when the man roared the word, mine. Her trembling hands automatically grabbed Emir’s shirt from behind in utter trepidation. First that loud gunshot which shook every single cell in her body and then this dangerous man in front of her. Not only for her, she was scared for Emir also. The man could harm him too.

His amber eyes noticed how she grabbed the fabric of Emir’s shirt in fear. Emir too assured her softly, glancing above his shoulder at Heer. This all irked the man and a fire ignited inside him.

He raised his hand which was holding a gun and brushed the mouth of his gun against his temple.

"Tsk—tsk—tsk! Poor prince in his modern fairytale, huh!"

Yusuf could see they both were in danger. He immediately commanded his men to attack the man but before anything could happen, the raging man pushed Emir aside and clutched Heer's wrist tightly.

A painful screech left her lips when the man pointed the gun at her temple.

"Stop!" Yusuf commanded his men when he saw Heer was under the man. He could harm her anytime. Would he?

Emir too immediately got up to get Heer but the man's bulky men handled him and didn't let him move further.

Everybody in the room now halted. Nobody dared to move a single inch. She glanced at everyone. Emir's scared family. Her scared father and wriggling Emir in the men's hold.

"Smart man." The man smirked at Yusuf, who was feeling so helpless now. His daughter was in the dangerous man's hold but he couldn't do anything. She was struggling to lose his grip but in return, he just clutched it tightly to keep her still in his hold.

"Leave her! I can give you whatever you want but just leave my daughter!" Yusuf uttered loudly. He couldn't bear tears in his daughter's eyes, plus he could never let the man take her away from him.

"But I only want your daughter..." the man answered him, earning a glare from Heer, but the next moment she gasped when she heard him uttering, "...to do whatever I want to do with her."

She was already scared and the man was filling her heart and mind with a probably never ending fear through his dangerous rubbish. To what extent can a man use a woman? The thought that comes in every girl's mind also came in Heer's mind.

The man moved to leave when he was done, but Yusuf stopped him, "No! You can't!"

The man got annoyed. He didn't want to waste his time. What he wanted to snatch was now in his custody, so by wasting more time he did not want to trouble himself any more. Seeing the tears of the people, seeing Emir's failed attempt to save Heer, he was just getting infuriated. He is not worried about the suffering of others.

Heer begged her father through her eyes but her tongue didn't utter a single word and her father was trying every possible way to make him understand but he didn't know anything about the man. He did not know what the intention of this man was.

"Yes, I can…" the man also whispered every word in amusement. Dragging Heer towards Yusuf, he confronted him with a confident smirk on his lips.

Yusuf was shooting daggers at him through his eyes, and he was standing with Yusuf's daughter next to him. Only one emotion was in the man's eyes, victory.

By making Yusuf helpless, he was feeling satisfied.

"You can't do it. You can't harm her, Sanam."

The words by Yusuf made the man smirk in amusement. He was finding Yusuf's state very satisfying to himself. He wanted Yusuf to beg like this. The man glanced at Heer and replied, "Sanam can do everything."

He then grabbed her waist, pulling her closer to him and earning a loud gasp from her, "Just like now… Sanam did what he wished years ago."

She felt disgusting. She wanted to scratch the man's face for talking to her father so rudely, but now she herself was buried under his powerful paw.

Yusuf was now totally scared but nothing was visible on his face, in his eyes. He was an expert in hiding this all. None of his men even tried to do anything because as Sanam stated, he could do anything with Heer. Yusuf himself did not want his men to put his daughter in danger by giving them orders to attack the clever man.

Poorly confused, Heer was only trying to remove Sanam's touch. His touch was warm, yet rigid, cold and firm.

"Now, it's time to leave…" turning his head at Heer, he ordered, "Now say goodbye to your daddy, Heeriye."

Her eyes widened at the word, Heeriye. So he was the man who sent those things to her on her birthday? But as he didn't give her time to understand anything, he just pulled her with him towards the door to leave.

"Leave her, Sanam! You'll regret your actions!" He heard Yusuf shouting from behind but didn't pay attention. He doesn't care about his words. He has the power to handle everything. He could not waste his time listening to Yusuf anymore. Apart from this, he has a lot of work to do.

"Leave me! Let go!" She kept struggling in his hermetic hold but he didn't lose it. Although, he just gripped it more firmly, tightly and aggressively. She was uselessly trying to free herself, knowing very well that the man wasn't going to leave her at any cost.

She was His!

He had made it clear in the very first meeting that Heer is only his.

"No! Please leave me! Let me go!" She screamed, trying to release her bruised wrist because of his harsh and pitiless clutch. But the man paid no attention! He kept dragging her mercilessly. That time, only one thing was in his mind—to sntach her away with him, and the thought wasn't letting him see her begging, her pain and her teary eyes.

There was a lot of pain in his iron hand. Not the slightest care but just a passion. A passion that has blinded him. No one knows how dangerous passion can be. When passion reaches the limit, the sound of heart breaking can force blood to flow from the ears.

"Please!" She screeched once again, hoping he would hear her and yeah, he stopped in his tracks and looked at her.

His amber eyes scanned her terrified form. Unable to bear the pain that was being given by his tight grasp, the pain was rolling down to her cheek in the form of tears. Her eyes were totally red and her form was a little disheveled.

The thin straps of her wedding gown were dangling through her shoulders as she kept wriggling so she could lose his grip. Her loosened strands were brushing her tear stained cheeks and the long veil on her head was also just about to fall down.

His sharp flaming amber eyes frightened her even more. She was trembling due to fear because the man held a gun in his other hand, still she was madly screeching behind him to let her go. Everyone knows that screaming in front of death is the biggest folly, but man has been made in such a way that he does not understand anything at the time of trouble.
