Antonio looked up at Mama Elizabeth, her hair now slightly disheveled but radiating a newfound radiance.

With a tender smile, he took her hand in his.

“You are as beautiful as always, Grandma.”

“Did you two have a misunderstanding? Why did she choose to stay with her family, and why are you two delaying the Marriage? Is there something I should know?”

His grandma asked, waving off his compliments which she sensed to be a distraction.

“Slow down”.

Antonio chuckled.

“Well, you are in a good mood, it's a good sign, just tell me there's nothing going on between the two of you, so I can die in peace”.

“I hate when you talk like that, Grandma”.

Antonio replied with a frown.

“Then there is your bride!”

Antonio sighed.

“Fine, I think it's time I tell you the truth”.

“What truth?”

Grandma Elizabeth replied impatiently.

Antonio hesitated, his expression shifting slightly as he pondered his grandmother's question.

He knew he couldn't keep the truth from her forever, and he was not comfortable
