I watched Godfrey's eyes grew wider than the normal. He had a look of confusion in his eyes, I asked,

“Is it because of my daughter? Because she is more beautiful? Young? Fresh blood?”

Godfrey shook his head, his lips pressed together as he finally said,

“No, I don't look at Princess Pamela that way,”

“Then who do you look at that way?” I asked, and he turned his head to the side. He went all red in his ear and at the tip of his nose. A small smile began to creep into my face.

Summoning a little more courage, I moved a step closer to him and asked again but more slowly and quietly,

“Who do you look at that way?”

He bowed his head, his hands now on his side.

“If you don't let me know, I won't release you. You won't leave this room,” I threatened him, and his mouth hung.

“Will you let me leave if I tell you?” He asked very cutely.

I thought about it for another few seconds before nodding my head to him,

“If you respond truthfully, I'll let you leave,” I replied to him, and he rai
