I didn't know whether to bless the moon goddess for sending Beta Nathan at that moment or not. That woman was such a seductress and for the second time, I was falling for her tricks again. I knew what I was supposed to do and what not yet I followed her.

I don't know why I still find it hard to refuse her. She had so much impact on me that I cannot explain. And that's to Draco, my wolf who had signaled me of someone coming.

With great speed, I had pushed Queen Goergina away from me like she was some plague. I didn't know what I would have done if I had been found in that position with the queen of Firedon. My head would have been hung in the center of the pack square.

I didn't even give her an opportunity to speak as I rushed into the woods leaving her there. Hiding behind a tree far away from her, I stood there listening to their conversation. She wouldn't have been able to save us. She can't.
