CHAPTER 111: VINCENT’S FATHER

VINCENT’S POV

I was busy drinking my wine inside my bar, together with my men, as we celebrated Sophie's and my upcoming wedding next week.

“Boss, magku-quit ka na ba bilang boss namin?” Gin, one of my men, asked me.

I looked at him, then I put my glass above the table. “I want to give all my time to Sophie and to our future kids. I don’t want them to live a miserable life and fear my enemies attacking us every single time.”

“Naiintindihan ka namin, Boss. Masaya kami para sa inyo.”

“You can just call me Vincent now,” I said.

They all looked at each other before looking at me again.

“Hindi po namin magagawa iyon, Boss. Kahit na anong mangyari, ikaw pa rin ang boss namin,” Joe said to me.

I gave them a smirk, then I raised my glass of wine. “Let’s celebrate my wedding with the woman I love and our victory in last week’s encounter against our enemies. We no longer have any enemies, so now all of you can live your own lives—not as mafias, but as normal people."
