I stared at the well-ironed tuxedo that was hung before me and I could not help the feeling of dread that filled my stomach. I was standing before the mirror with a towel wrapped around my waist. My father had refused that I leave the pack till I was installed as the acting Alpha and Mariander, the crowned Luna. Anger and pure fury clashed against each other in my heart and pumped into my veins.

The urge the punch the mirror heightened. I stepped away instead and swiped everything on my desk away, the glasses clattering on the ground, making a noise. My chest heaved with heavy breaths as I stared at the shattered glasses.

Someone rushed in and a scream rang out. I looked up to see my mother glaring daggers at me and I scoffed, turning away from her.
