Years later.
Maya - The Crown Prince’s brideI asked my best friend to sneak out the walls with me. It was a mission to see my parents.Reason was today was my birthday. An evil woman named Senora controlled Cithara, the place I lived. The guards shot at us, but we somehow managed to escape them.“Didn’t you hear the tales, Maya?”This person speaking above, is Garza. He is the gate keeper of the graveyard.“The myth of the night where the Great vampire prince, awakens. The one who has the ability to make the dead undead?”“I don’t believe in those legends or myths, Garza. I’ll just see my parents as soon as possible and be done with it,”I replied him.“You might not believe it, child. But be careful, for whoever awakens him, becomes his bride till eternity,”I scoffed at his words, breathing it off and leaving Julian with him as he had bad feeling about literally everything. Here is me now, presently. I’m trying not to be scared because from my experience in horror movies, ghosts didn’t made people die. It was themselves. As I walked in the shadows, I walked past other graves. As I moved, deeper, there were more mists in the air. For an instant, I thought I saw something ahead of me, but it was gone.I made a move to bring out Delilah my doll who was the yin to my yang.“Please protect me, if you can,”I whispered, timidly, as she was a weird doll I could talk to in my thoughts.Making my way to my parents’ grave, I halted in front of where they were buried. Looking at the encryptions, boldly written on the epigraph.“IN MEMORY OF EMILY SANCHEZ AND ROBERT SANCHEZ,” I also looked at the date encodings also. It made me want to cry. Being emotional sucked but… God knew it made me want to cry…“Mum… dad,” I started off. “I miss you so much…”“Seeing this makes me think of what would have happened, if we all survived that day.” I continued.“You both meant so much to me. And right now, I have no one…”Some tears rolled down my cheek, with Delilah in my hands. I bent down a little, bringing out some flowers and dropping them on each of their graves, respectively. It was not until a few days after, the search party were able to retrieve their bodies. They looked grey, the exact shadow of themselves and it hurt.I remembered, crying so hard on the day they were buried. No one had been by my side, except Senora Savannah telling me they were never going to come back.“If I had the power, I’d make sure you both came back,” I laid down on their graves, sobbing.Senora said, I’d better move on and not let it affect my life. She told me some kids never got to see their parents. Her actions was insensitive to me and I hated that she did it that day, of all moments.“I wish you both would come back!!”I yelled, angrily with a new set of fresh tears spilling from my eyes. Don’t know why I did this… really.Suddenly, a gentle breeze whooshed past my face. I raised my head up, when I felt a gentle thud just underneath me. It seemed like a slight earthquake, but I went in tune with it, surprisingly.Instead on mum and dad’s grave, it seemed like I was in an old room, which contained a tomb. The room was somewhat dimly lit, with weak lights flaring. I hastily remembered the keeper’s words earlier before I came in.“There has been a rumor spread by other visitors, over the year. It is said to change its walls in a way, that is out of the ordinary.”“The myth of the night where the Great vampire prince, awakens. The one who has the ability to make the dead undead.”“W-Where is this place?” I asked, no one in particular, trying to connect dots.“C-Could it b-be…”I gasped instantly. My eyes searched, only to find a stone just ahead. I curiously walked towards it.The prince had the ability to make the dead undead? Maybe… mayb…Maybe this was my chance to bring back mum and dad! Or was I just being delusional?Whatever it was, I was going to try.I rolled the stone over. There was a body inside the tomb. It was greyish, the entity looked dead but I could tell it was a man.And there was an old stake in his chest, just around where his heart lied. My lips firmly pressed against each other, stretching my hand.“You can do this, Maya.”Delilah, my talking doll, supported me. Really hope she didn’t switch on me, like Annabelle would.“Just pull it out and you’ll have your parents.” she added again, “All he has to do, is to help you bring them back to life.”Determined, I brought out the piece of wood. Just as I unstaked the piece of wood, from the creatures’ chest, I felt a sudden gasp from him.My hand was suddenly held and hastily removed them, taking two steps back, in fright. The lights in the room, began to twitch.“W-What the hell’s happening?”I cursed beneath my breath, looking around as it didn’t stop. Tell me this was not some old way, of telling a horror film girl, that she needed to evacuate the room.Yet…I needed his help and I wasn’t going anywhere without it! There we go again. Me being an idiot, I hope this didn’t change my life forever.“Whoever you are, I’m not afraid!” I let out.“I did what I did because I needed your help. I just want to bring back my parents,” I added, with tears surrounding my eyes in agony.I immediately heard a rat squeaking in struggle. Slow muffled sounds of someone eating, crunching and swallowing something filled the room that instant.A growl immediately brought me at alert, directing me to the door. I aimed to run away but a creature appeared in front of me. I was met with dark orb eyes and sexy blood twirls on his mouth, which he licked seductively.Okay hmmm…“Not so fast, sweetheart.”Pale looking, inhuman, I couldn’t breathe of the fact that he was gorgeous though. Even in the dimly lit from, his hair still shone a dark-bluish tone.It was like he wore some dark makeup, below his eyelids.Or maybe that was the way, he was born. This leaves me to one question…“W-Who are you and how did you… get inside that box?” I shivered on my spot, asking.“Your best nightmare, princessa.”I sighed, folding my hands right in front of me and trying to create a distance.Urrhh…Delilah?Try not switching an Annabelle on me, too please.“We’re safe with him.” she weirdly replied.“And the other question?” I asked the pale looking man.“That would be for later.” he answered.“Right now, we have a special occasion to attend to. We must not be late, as the special guests of honor,”He said, untangling his extremely cold hands from my waist, only to knot them around my wrists.“W-What? I’m totally not understanding this. Where are we even going to? I don’t even know you; I mean I just met you a few seconds ago!”“Be quiet, would you? Don’t draw the attention of another creature lurking in the dark,” he cautioned.“Another creature, lurking in the dark? What do you mean by that?” I scrunched my nose, asking.“I have so many enemies, little one. Won’t want you to see the inhumane sight of chopping their head off, as you’re human,”He inched closer, saying. It gave me sensual feelings, but…dammit, his breath stunk!I blinked lots of times, pinching myself to be sure that I wasn’t dreaming.“Own a toothbrush?”I moved away from his lips area.“No, I was locked in a box for centuries and you expect me to own one?” he smirked replying. Please do leave a comment and vote if you liked this chapter. Would really appreciate it as it helps promote the story better. Thanks!
“Whatever, but you need a goddamn brush,” I breathed out.“That would be far off in my Kingdom, but good thing we would soon be there,”“I think what you mean is, you would soon be there, because I only woke you up to revive my parents from the dead,” I muttered.“Then cupcake, it means we still need to go to my Kingdom cause my revival staff lies there,” He weirdly gave me another pet name, as we got outside of the cemetery but it seemed like we were at the wrong place, because I couldn’t remember seeing anything here. And where was Julian?“Hold on tight, sugar flake.”He said, convincing me to get on his back.“I have a name, weirdo.”I gritted out, clenching my hands around his back, with Delilah in my hands. It’s Maya…I thought, unsure of what was going on.“Then what is it, Maya?”I immediately gasped in shock, screaming at the fact that he read my mind. He also just flew about 100 feet high, and landed just on his feet in agility.“How did you know my name, you freak?!”I yelle
Javier I had stolen a suit plus a wedding dress to wed my bride. It was nothing like back in the 1800s, where no eyes would suspect. Compelling some attendants, outrunning the guards and sidestepping sunlight was no easy job. I’m so going to figure out the fucker that took my ring. “Good thing I am unidentified though.” I smirked, at the thought that no one knew I existed. My vision came back to what was happening in front of me. I could hear their pitching voices, as I approached the throne room, in distance. The bloody council of the Vampire Elders. They could argue from hell to back in a day, it was seemingly alarming that they haven’t changed. “My Crown Prince--“ “Shh,” I immediately directed to the maid that intended to draw attention to my presence. In my hands, was Maya’s tiny frame. She passed out the moment she got bitten. Did it to keep her safe. Humans were out of bounds in my Kingdom. “I-is she okay?” The maid stuttered. I snapped my fingers to some bodyguard who rus
Maya I struggled to get out of his hands. In his dark eyes, with red pupils was a look of amusement and dominancy. He made it look like he was enjoying this. “Stop the struggle, little one…and I’ll let you stand still.” I clenched my teeth, hissing with a spit on his face. “Never!” I exclaimed. Javier’s fangs elongated at my words. The planes on his face contained a harsh look. Goose pimples formed on my skin that instant. It made me realize I was scared. Maybe I shouldn’t have done that… “Oh, little lamb. You shouldn’t have done that…” he trailed. I tightened my eyes, trembling on my spot, as he pinned my hands more firmly above my hand. I could feel his cock press against my thighs. Innumerable reverberations sleuthed through me, with my core pacing. “I can smell your arousal for me. So spiteful yet daunting.” From the breaths he fanned on my neck, I could tell he was closer. Something wet connected with the bite on my neck, making me cry out. “You tricked me,” I slurred. “
Javier Didn’t expect my new bride to accept her position as the wife of the Dark Prince. After knowing her reasons for unstaking me, her reluctance was predictable. These qualities were what she exhibited— hesitancy and rebellious streaks. “The King summons for you, my Prince.” At the sound of the servant’s voice, I snapped out of my daze. Still felt apprehensive for not bringing my bride to my room. “Ah, Vladmir…what does he want from me?” I bared my fangs; my eyes contained a hateful glare. The servant trembled on his spot. “The King intends to converse with you, Prince Javier. He intends to plan the banquet with his lost son. He also asked about your bride.” I let out a devious cackle, at his last words. My fist balled, in disappointment and withheld fury with anger. “My bride, huh?” “Run.Off.” I seethed. The servant immediately did as I rushed away, closing the door behind him. I stood up from my seat, looking around my room, in a raw and throbbing glare at what I had to f
Javier Ambroz made sure to get me lots of the clothes, with the damned excuse that I was out of fashion. He made me wear one of the clothes, a long Korean style jacket with some scarf. There was also something scholars used back then. He called it sun glasses, shuffling my hair, when I held his hand, “That’s the last inch of my pride.” I stated, with a serious look. “Oh, common…” Ambroz groaned out, letting it go. We were right on our way out to grab a drink, when certain girls squealed at the both of us. “Oh my, how can two men be so good looking?!” They exclaimed, giggling and blushing on their spots. I winked at them, waving as we got down from the moving stairs Ambroz said was an escalator. On getting to the tavern, my best friend scolded me on its new name which was called a “bar.” His phone rang the minute we ordered a drink, and while I tasted this new alcohol, he went across to take the call. “What?!” I heard him yell from distance. I narrowed my eyes, as to what exactl
Maya Feathery touches connected with my hand. That made my eyes fly open, looking below. I was met with an odd hand, which made me spring forth and back in awe at the female in front of me. “The girl who survived a storm that killed all. The girl who couldn’t speak, yet fought her way through.” she chanted. “Ran away from a place she lived most of her life, chose to wake a prince to help her. The girl with a dark destiny filled with bloodshed--" “Who are you?” I asked. My thoughts wandered off as to how she knew all these about me. “You’re pitiful.” she snorted. “Your future with the dark prince, is indeed dark.” My eyes became bloodshot as she added those words. It looked like a dream, yet I was currently in the familiar room. Where was Delilah and Javier? “Who are you?!” I was already freaking out. She had a straight, long blond hair. Her lips, in a crimson lipstick, her eyes were blue with some gothic lining under. “My bad, my name’s Katherine.” she muttered. Around her ne
Javier I left my companera to rest the minute she fell asleep from the excessive weeping. I was fucking self-centered for not allowing her choose. Either way, she would have been a vampire in the end. There were these thoughts in my head, as I reached Ambroz’s doorstep. His apartment was a few steps away from the palace, so were other vampire citizens. I hit the door with an object, till I heard voices, “Who’s that?” It was a womanly voice, which I guessed to be his wife. The door sprang open, only for me to be welcomed with the face of my ex’s sister, Claudia. “Javier!” she exclaimed, dropping the basket in her hands, and leaning in to hug me. “You should have used the doorbell!” I stood stiff, not used to being hugged by anyone. Scratching the back of my head, I was about to say something when two little innocent creatures ran towards me. “Unca Jay, Unca Jay!!” It was two little girls. Their tiny hands connected with my knees and they hugged me, pouting before gazing up. I na
Maya I stared, gulped, my heart skipped in a different pace. A cold chill traveled through my vein and I could feel butterflies swooning through my belly. “I just want my parents, Javier. I do not want to be confused by certain emotions.” I gritted those words, wriggling out of his arms. On entering, I shut the closet’s door at him, hoping he gave up. The room was dark, yet my sight made me able to figure out what to wear. “Your transformation process is the next after bloodlust you felt. Even if I let you go, you would be a danger to humans, wherever your destination might be.” Javier murmured from outside. “Humans.Don’t.Take.Vampires.In.” After he added those words, I heard the room door slamming shut. My hands stopped moving, and I exhaled at his words. What transformation process? What was it like for newborn vampires? … I woke up the next morning, sweating profusely. The night before had been so restless. I couldn’t sleep well. Every part of my body ached for something…
