chapter 6

We had driven past one of the falls as we followed Satu and Codex. Mika was in the back this time and Drac and I were in the front. My hand still tingled where Codex had touched it. Drac’s fingers tightened around the steering wheel and seemed to be thinking about something as we followed my alleged mates. I tried to get him to talk to me but he just grunted. I guess I will have to try talking to him when it’s just the two of us.

“We're here, I guess.” Mika said as we pulled up to a large house.

“It’s beautiful!” I said in excitement. I wondered how old the building was. It looked to be an old Victorian house but with two front peeks and two back peeks. I wanted a home like this but knew I would never get one. One thing for sure, if they were my mates, I know we would spend a lot of time here.

“Yeah, well, let’s just go in.” Drac grunted out. We all piled out of the truck and walked in with Satu and Codex.

The outside of the house was a light blue color but the inside was all dark oak
