Chapter 18

Once we were a safe distance away, I pulled over. I had driven about five hours and we found ourselves in a little town like Minburn. The kind of town that you blink and pass it if you are not careful. I pulled over into the only place I could find, parked, and shut the truck off. I sighed and looked up at my confused mates and then explained why I had been so shocked and scared. I unloaded everything onto them, the dream, the way it all felt real, and how I woke up with surprise and fear, making me want to leave.

“Babygirl, that wasn’t a dream, it was a vision. It is rare for a Fae to have one, but it is possible,” Drac told me softly, trying to ease my fears.

“Sweetheart, what do you want to do? Go to the palace? Or go to Alaska?” Codex asked in a soothing voice.

“We need to go to the Palace. I refuse to lose my mates. I know that there is something more that we need to do to become stronger.” I said as I looked out the windows with Landon and Satu doing the same. We all remained
