Kayden's POV
"Madeline, listen .." she cut me off with a dark chuckle. I knitted my eyebrows in confusion.
Instantly, some people wearing black suits came into sight. They came directly to me.
"Wha.. what are you doing?" I asked them.
Madeline walked to me. Running down her fingers slowly on my face.
"Oh darling, you are really stupid, aren't you? Don't you know enemies tend to be unpredictable?" She said, smirking.
"But you told me to come alone. I just wanted to talk ." I said quickly. My voice came out as if I was pleading.
Those men started to tie me tightly to the chair I was sitting on.
