Chapter 45 - Cleo and Cole
Lunaya.
“I will go find the others then” I said as I looked to Elaine. She nodded her head and backed out the door. Cleo was laying on the ground, still in her burgundy and grey wolf form, while Phoebe leaned up against a tree.
“Phoebe, you will stay with me and we will take first watch over the Goddess. Cleo, you will accompany Lunaya back to the village to find the others. We will be refreshing guards every three hours” Elaine directed. Cleo stood and took a few steps closer as Elaine spoke. Phoebe nodded and walked around the other side of the cabin, scouting the perimeter, I assume.
“I will send more she-wolves out shortly. Thank you, Beta Elaine” Romeá spoke kindly. Her soft and genuine words were a stark contrast to the constant firmness that I have grown use to from the Luna Eclipse she-wolves.
