"Wait!"

Mr. Wilson exclaimed, surprising Nathan, Mike, and Mr. Carter. All three of them stared at the grandfather and waited for what Nathan's grandfather would say next. Mr. Wilson gave Nathan a sharp look, but Nathan was not affected at all. His face remained calm. He was ready for anything.

"Married, you say? Is it that easy for you to talk about marriage? Do you think marriage is a game?" said Mr. Wilson as he looked at Nathan, but Nathan responded with a smile.

"Who said marriage was a game, Grandpa? Wasn't it these grandfathers who made marriage a game in the first place by making fake marriage contracts?"

Nathan's words were spoken casually and adorned with a smile, but they were sarcastic and sharp. Mr. Wilson's face darkened, but he couldn't say anything because what his grandson said was true. Fortunately, Nathan was so devoted that he was willing to take it for granted, even though the contract cost him dearly and tormented him.
