Chapter 13: You're Still Mine!

"What the hell was that Caden? He was just trying to be helpful." Sophia yelled in the car as they drove away from the cafe.

"What? I didn't do anything wrong." Caden countered, not wanting to admit his mistake.

"Whatever, I'm not talking to you." Sophia gritted her teeth, turning her head to the window.

Caden was looking back and forth at the street and her, he clenched his grip on the steering wheel, his jaw tightening, torn if he should just say sorry or not.

'That guy was obviously hitting on her, if I didn't built a tracking device on her phone then I wouldn't have known where she was or what that fucking guy would do to her.' He thought, over imagining things. He was conflicted why he was feeling like this.

He was in the middle of the meeting when he saw Sophia's location, he thought she was probably just hanging out with her friends, but his gut feeling was telling him otherwise.
