CHAPTER 11

LILIANA POV

I insisted to go to my office today. Xavier made it clear last night that I need to stay at home. But I refused. I am sitting in my office right now checking the progress of our resort through my laptop. Xavier was sitting on the couch near my table with his laptop too.

He was focused on his work and he brought it here instead of staying at his office.

"Xavier, I think you will be more comfortable in your office," I started.

"No love. I am at ease if I am here beside you," he gave me a wink.

I just laughed and went back to my work.

"Why? You don't want to see my handsome face all day?" he teased me.

"Of course I do. But, I'm fine here Xavier," I leaned on my swivel chair.

"I will stay here Liliana, I will not leave you," he continued.

I remember Takashi. I need to talk to him today, but it was too impossible. Xavier was here, I don't want my husband to know about Takashi's communications with me. I want to know more, it seems Takashi could give me a good answer.
