Astraea's POV The cold increased near my neck like invisible frost-lapped hands were choking me. I yelped in pain and immediately shut my mouth with my hands. If Zeus or the girl saw me in this state, I really won't know how to explain them. Pulling myself together, I stumbled down the corridor. The biting icy feeling was slowly spreading throughout my body and paralyzing me. Yet, I walked and dragged myself till the huge door of the old library came into view. Astraea's POV After Emily dropped me at home, I was glad that none of my parents were present. Otherwise, I don't know how would I have explained my state. Anyhow, I dragged myself upstairs to my room. Standing in front of the mirror, I pulled down the collar of my shirt. There was no marking or handprints on my neck, yet the excruciating pain felt like the outcome of getting choked, not in a good way. I sighed and walked to my bathroom. Opening the shower door, I stepped under the shower without even removing my clothes. Lukewarm water washed over my body, wetting my dress in the process. The warm sprinkles were a boon after the feeling of nearly dying in the frosty river. Closing my eyes, I felt every little drop softly touching my skin, washing away every anxiety and paranoic thought, even though for a few moments. Astraea's POV Coffee silently kept on eating. I scratched a little on his head, even though he was a goofball, I shouldn't forget that he is still wild. "Coffee, Did you ?" I almost reached deep within the forest when the prints stopped. Where did he go? I looked around, Coffee wasn't there. Instead, there was a cave hidden between two huge trunks of trees.
