Chapter thirteen - Leanna

After stopping for a drink in the coffee shop nearest the school, I can't put it off any longer and head home, hoping that Nathan won't already be there. I won't lie, I'm so disappointed, but it is what it is, I got over it before, I can do it again.

As luck would have it, the only person home is Kim, who's ransacking the house for her favourite t-shirt after leaving packing to the last minute. As usual.

"Have you got it in yours?" She asks, pulling out sofa cushions and stuffing them back, ignoring the chocolate and crisp wrappers that Shane and his friends have obviously stuffed down the back of it. "It's my black one with the big red drippy heart on one side."

"No, but wasn't Susie wearing it instead of her school uniform last week?" 

"Shit, yes, thank you." In s
