Cole's POV.
I went over to my locker and opened it before taking my books out for the first three periods. I shut my locker when I was done and walked down the hallway.
"Yo, Cole!" I heard Griff calling from behind me. "That fight last night was fire." He said with a smile on his face and I just shook my head at him.
"Where is Tyler?" I asked curiously and Griff shrugged.
"So he's trying to get with, Liv?" Griff asked me and I just blankly looked at him. "Then he deserved it."
"What's up, Cole, Griff," Shane asked as he started walking down the hall with us.
"Sup," I said briefly.
"I heard you hooked up with Stacy last night," Shane said and I just shrugged.
"How was she?" Griff asked me and I smirked briefly.
"Too easy," I said and they laughed at my words.
"No shit," Shane said through his chuckles. And I couldn't help but smile as we walked out of the school building. We walked across the grass and went to sit at a table there.
Every single girl that walked past us smiled at me but I didn't take an interest in any of them. Soon the rest of the gang joined us at the table. And all they could talk about was their random hookups from last night.
I zoned out of the conversation and bathed in the sun.
"Bro, your sister is fucking hot," Chris said and the other guys agreed with him. My jaw clenched and I sat upright.
"Liv is off limits," I replied blankly.
"How would you feel if I said that about your sisters?" I asked them and they pulled their faces in disgust.
"Chris back the fuck off," Griff said while glaring at Chris and I just shook my head at them.
"We should throw a party tonight," Shane suggested and the boys agreed with him. "Aren't your parents out of town?" He asked me and I raised an eyebrow at him.
"I don't do parties," I replied blankly.
"Bullshit," Griff said before smiling broadly. "You're the legend of the school. Girls go to parties just to see you there." He said and I looked at him as if he was an alien.
"Well it's not happening," I said and they groaned in disappointment.
The bell suddenly rang and we all went back into the school building. We went into our homeroom class before sitting in a group.
"Good morning class, the inseparables." Mr Pierce said referring to us so I hit Griff's arm. He smiled at me before looking at Mr Pierce.
"What up, Dick?!" Griff asked and the class erupted into laughter.
"Are you done, Mr Anderson?" The teacher asked and Griff smiled at me before smiling at the teacher.
"Sure thing, Dick." He said and the class laughed once more.
"And my name is Dennis by the way." Mr Pierce said which only made the class laugh even more.
A knock suddenly came from the door and everyone looked to where the sound came from.
"Come in." Mr Pierce said and the door creaked open.
"Miss Reed." He said and I sat upright in my seat.
"Cole." The kids started calling my name and nudging me. I watched her every move as she walked towards the teacher. A few whistles came from some of my classmates and I just rolled my eyes at them.
"Mrs. Beck would like to discuss this term's lit test for the seniors with you," Liv said seriously.
"Mrs Beck is the hot one right?" He asked and Liv just blankly looked at him.
"Easy, Dick!" Griff said in a teasing tone and everyone laughed at the look on the teacher's face.
"Just don't tear the place down while I'm gone." He said before leaving the classroom with Liv. A few more whistles were heard and I knew they were just trying to get a reaction out of me, since I'm her "brother" God I hate that word.
"Relax guys. The little sister is off limits." Shane said and I raised my eyebrow at him which caused him to instantly shut up.
"Careful, you might be the next Ty," Jake said and the rest of the gang laughed at Shane who rolled his eyes at us.
Lamar took a blunt out of his backpack before placing it between his lips. Josh lit it up and Lamar took a long drag from it before passing it on to the group.
We all laughed when Jake couldn't stop coughing.
"This is some good weed," Josh said before blowing the smoke out of his mouth. Megan opened the windows and Kayla sprayed some of her perfume in the air.
Then the door suddenly opened and revealed the principal. Lamar quickly put the blunt out before going back to his seat.
Everyone acted normal as Mr. Clark fully entered our classroom.
"Is that marijuana I smell?" He asked in suspicion and we all frowned at him.
"Cole?" He called my name and I shrugged at him.
"Oh, the green smell?" Clay some nerdy kid in my class asked and the principal nodded at him. "That's just my science project." He said and Mr Clark instantly believed him.
"As Crawford High's best class out of all the seniors, you're going on a trip this Friday." The principal said and the class erupted into cheers. "You're allowed to bring one person along, or you could just come alone." He said with a smile on his face.
"Time to fuck!" Griff yelled and the class laughed at him.
"Get off the table, Griff." The principal said before heading towards the door. "And keep this between us, I don't want the other seniors to get jealous and hate me." He said before leaving our classroom.
"Viral?" Zu asked the class and they nodded in response. She typed something on her phone and everyone got a notification.
"Big T!" Shane yelled. And the rest of the class yelled "Big T!" in response. I sat back in my seat and thought of who I could possibly take with me.
Fuck I need a girlfriend before the bonfire. I frowned at Griff and Shane who were twerking on the tables. How did they end up calling this the best class?
The bell rang and we headed to our next class. I saw Liv and Paige Morgan standing by her locker so I went over to them.
Why not ask her if she wants to go on the trip with me now?
"So he got into a fight with Tyler because of me?" I asked Mara our school's journalist and she just nodded her head at me. "See you in trig, Liv." She said before she walked away from me. What the fuck? So he beat up two guys for vibing with me. That could only mean one thing. Cole has some serious anger issues. I went into Mrs. Beck's class for my admin period. I took a seat at her desk because we're practically best friends. "Hey, Livvy." She said before she sat down at her desk. "Hey, Martha," I said tiredly and she frowned at me. "I know that face. What's wrong?" She asked and I placed my head on the desk. "Cole," I whined before sitting upright again. "Your hot brother? How could something so right possibly be wrong?" She asked me and I rolled my eyes at her. "Well he is annoying and he drives me up the walls," I said before groaning. "Okay, Godzilla. I'm gonna send you to Mr. Pierce so that you can blow off some steam." She said with a smile on her face. "That dude
After school I went to Cole's car and stood in front of it. I turned around and rested my elbows on the warm metal and leaned against it. I silently scrolled through my feed before I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around in a swift movement and found Cole looking at me. "Are you okay?" I asked and he shook his head at me. "Yeah, I'm fine." He replied quickly. He's acting weird. He unlocked the car and I instantly climbed inside. "The senior party is tonight at our house," Cole said nonchalantly and I frowned deeply. "You should have a sleepover with Jade or something." He said before smirking at me. "First of all, we're not allowed to have parties, second of all if you're going then I'm going," I said cheekily and he flared his nostrils. "Then you're not allowed to make out with anyone." He replied smugly and I closed my eyes for a long while. "Oh because you'll beat them up if I do?" I asked and he ran a hand through his hair. "Nice skirt." He said and I felt my cheeks
I placed my arms around his neck before placing my lips against his. And he hugged my waist while he slowly started kissing me back. Cole picked me up and my legs circled his torso. I lost myself in our passionate kiss when my back hit the wall and I felt Cole's erection pressing against my lower region. I felt my cheeks heating up when he grabbed a handful of my ass before he started kissing me harder. He suddenly pulled away from me and my eyes were still closed. As I caught my breath I felt Cole gently placing me back down on the ground. "I'm sorry." He said under his breath. "We shouldn't have done that." He added before going back inside and leaving me there to drown in my thoughts. I just kissed Cole. My stepbrother. Then why am I feeling like this? I can't have feelings for him, can I? I ran a hand through my hair before breathing out and going back inside. I avoided everyone who tried to talk to me before I went back upstairs to my room. I locked my bedroom door behind me
I have feelings for Cole.I kept repeating that sentence in my head all morning. And it is driving me crazy, this morning I was ready to confess my feelings for him but then he stopped me. Maybe it was for the best.I can't have feelings for him-"Hey, bestie." Jade interrupted my thoughts before she sat on my lap."Hi, Jade," I said tiredly."You are going on the senior trip with me." She said while holding my face in her hands."There is no way that I'm-" "I already booked your seat on the bus. You already have the room next to mine no refunds-""But-""No buts," Jade said and I sighed in defeat before she pulled me into a tight hug."I am so mad at you right now. But I'm choosing not to lash out." I said and she shot me a bored look."Whatever you're lowkey just as excited as I am to go on the senior trip." She said and I rolled my eyes at her."I'm totally not," I said in a tone that Paige would usually use and we laughed together."Laughing and talking about Paige how did you end
After school Jade and I headed towards the football field and sat on the bleachers. I took a sip from my water bottle before looking at the field. The first team came running onto the field before lining up. And those uniforms, yes lord. I watched Cole throwing the ball causing his muscles to flex.Jade was screaming next to me and I looked at her as if she wasn't okay. "Cheer with me." She said under her breath."No ways." I said before looking back to the boys playing their favourite sport. Cole sexily walked across the field before shouting something at Chris. Chris gestured with his hand and Cole nodded at him. Then out of nowhere somebody tackled Cole. He hit the ground on his side and the other person stood up. My mouth hung open and my heart was ready to jump out of my chest. Cole got up from the ground and threw the guy on the ground. His back hit the grass and the other boys pried Cole away from him."Is that-""Tyler?" I finished Jade's sentence and her mouth hung open. "W
"Are you sure you wanna go to school? If you're not feeling well we can skip the whole thing and have a girl's day." My mom said but I shook my head."No Mom, you have work and I'll be fine," I told her and she frowned at me."Via, you know I would call off work to spend time with you, no matter what." My mom said and I let out a small sigh."I know Mom, but I have to face my problems. I can't run away every time things get hard." I explained to her."Okay, but call me if you need anything. Like anything at all." My mom demanded so I nodded."I will," I said while my mom stopped in front of the school building. I climbed out and waved at her before heading inside."Oh my gosh, Liv." I heard Paige from behind me. Not her too."Paige," I said while turning around to face her."How are you?" She asked with a smile on her face and her three blonde besties glared at me."I'm good and you?" I asked and she laughed for no reason."I'm totally fantastic." She said before lacing her arm with mi
"Let's go," I told Jade and Tyler before getting up. We walked out of the cafeteria together and went to sit outside on the grass instead."A Cole-free life." I sighed while allowing the sun to kiss my face."I don't think so," Jade said and I opened my eyes. I looked to where she was looking and found the football team sitting at a table to our left."What's his deal with you?" Tyler asked in frustration so I just shrugged."He's just protective." I covered for him.I groaned when somebody came standing in front of me."Your shadow is making me cold," I said in annoyance before looking up. "Rook?" I asked in shock and he sat down beside me."Sup guys." He said before crossing his long legs."You're sitting with us?" I asked in disbelief and he nodded."Yeah. Obviously, I can't go sit with my ex-best friends." He said sarcastically."To me they're acquaintances," Tyler said pointedly."I don't understand how he would punch his best friend over a girl," Rook told Tyler."She's not any g
Cole's POV. "Liv!" I called after her as she walked upstairs to her room."Cole." I heard my dad say so my head snapped to where he was sitting. "Get in here." He said blankly so I did as he told me to."What's up, Dad?" I asked and he glared at me before a broad smile spread across his face."Captain of the football team." My dad chuckled while tapping my back. "I'm a proud father." He continued happily."Thanks, Dad," I said blankly."You know when I was your age, I was also captain of the football team. I had the friends, the girls, I had everything." My dad said and I frowned at him. "What I'm trying to say is you need to focus on what matters son. Cherish the things and people that you know will still be there for you in twenty years." My dad said and I just nodded at him."Yeah," I said under my breath."And apologize to Liv." My dad said in annoyance. "I swear you guys are worse than a married couple." He said and I glared at him."Really Dad?""Come on Cole. Don't tell me you
