Give Me Some Time, Please!

Brian checked his cell phone, perhaps there was an incoming message from Jhon who he had assigned to look after Elise - he thought.

However, until he arrived at his mansion, the man still hadn't given him any news. "I should have saved that woman's number earlier," he whispered when he realized he hadn't saved the number of Elise, his contract lover.

"What's wrong, sir? Is there a problem?" asked his assistant, Robi.

"Try calling Jhon."

"Yes, sir."

The man immediately contacted his coworker. Before long, he answered the call. "Hello, Robi," he greeted him.

"Sir wants to talk to you."

"Okay."

Robi handed Brian his cell phone, and he grabbed it impatiently. "Hello."

"Yes, sir?"

"What's that woman doing?"

"Miss Elise is still in her apartment, sir. But a woman left recently. It seems it was a friend of hers."

"Give her your cell phone, I want to talk."

"Yes, sir." Jhon immediately walked towards Elise's apartment unit, he knocked on the door several times until finally the woman came out of there. "Miss, sir wants to talk."

Elise sighed heavily. "I thought you had left."

"I can't, unless you come with me right now to the mansion. I am in charge of looking after you until tomorrow morning."

"You're quite stubborn." Elise reached for Jhon's cell phone. "Hello--"

"Send your cell phone number to Jhon, I'll call you directly. You have to answer it, otherwise I'll force Jhon to drag you to my house right now," Brian interrupted.

Elise, who was in turmoil, certainly didn't want to argue. She disconnected the call and sent Brian her number.

She gave the phone back to Jhon. "Where are you going to sleep?"

"I can sleep in the car, Miss."

"Well, whatever you want," she said as she closed the door tightly.

She went back inside and lay down on the bed that still smelled of men's perfume, then she got up and moved to the sofa. She imagined what her best friend was doing in their room. It was disgusting.

Then, does she have the right to hate what Sandra does? Of course not, especially now that she is not different. She is now Brian Regan's pet. What difference does it make? She thought.

While she was pensive, her cell phone suddenly rang, an unknown number was calling her and it was definitely Brian. Elise was too lazy to answer it, but she knew that if she didn't answer the call immediately, Brian would come and drag her away from there.

"Hello."

"Did you say goodbye to your friend? I heard from Jhon that your friend is gone.”

"Yes, I did. My friend moved into her boyfriend's house. Why?"

"In that case, what are you waiting for? Come to my house and don't forget to bring all your things."

Elise sighed heavily. "I'll be leaving in the morning. Give me some space to myself."

"Why? What were you doing there anyway?"

"I know that I'm your pet right now, but can you just give me a chance to enjoy my last day here?!"

Brian was surprised that Elise suddenly sounded so angry, even though she didn't mean it that way. "Hey, why are you so angry? I'm just-"

"Yes, I know that, as your pet, I have to obey. But let's do that tomorrow. I want to be alone today!"

Brian, who wanted to force her to follow him to his house, but hearing her so angry made him speechless. "Alright, do as you please!"

Elise hung up the phone call and lay back down on the bed. She cried like a baby, now she had no one and even her best friend left without listening to her complaints.

She never thought that in the end she would become a pet of a rich man like Brian, it felt like the pride she had upheld had just disappeared.
