CHAPTER 14: LOVERS' QUARREL?!

Aurora's POV

Shit! Why did I even forget about time?!

As soon as I arrived at Timothy's home, I saw him sitting on the couch with his arms crossed as if he was a father waiting for his daughter.

"T-Timothy. Why are you still awake? You didn't have to wait for me."

"Where did you go?" he asked without any emotion on his face.

I paused for a while, trying to think of a very good alibi that I could use. "Me and my colleagues went on a dinner together. We didn't notice the time, so--

"Really?"

"H-Huh? O-Of course. That's the truth."

He looked straight into my eyes. The way he stared at me made me feel so nervous. "Then what are those?"

Suddenly, I saw some photos on the center table. I looked closer to see them clearly, and I was surprised when I realized that it was actually me and Liam.

"That's Liam Hamilton, right? Are you going out with him?" he asked again. This time, the tone of his voice sounded mad.
