Chapter 2

I was snuggled in my bed, the covers pulled up to my neck, almost drifting off to sleep. After a quick dinner, I was eagerly awaiting a call from Alex. Although I didn't know exactly when he would call, he was usually online around this time at night. The temptation to log onto my PlayStation to check if he was online there was strong. However, just as I was about to get up, my phone rang. I quickly jumped back into bed, taking a deep breath.

"Hello," I spoke quickly, getting comfortable.

"Hey," Alex breathed out, and his voice sent shivers down my spine. "It feels so strange to talk to you like regular people," he chuckled, and I couldn't help but grin.

"We are regular people," I laughed. "It is weird to hear your voice though. How long have we been playing that game?"

"Feels like forever, like four months," Alex paused as I lay back down, balancing my phone on my face. "So, you like my voice, huh? Do I have a sexy voice?" I rolled my eyes at his obvious attempt to flirt, although secretly enjoying it.

"Yeah, you have a sexy voice," I blurted out, momentarily surprised by my own boldness. It was unlike me to be so forward, as evidenced by my lack of boyfriends. Meeting men was always a challenge for me, especially considering my predominantly male-oriented life. Many men would lose interest in talking to me online once they found out I was a woman. I had experienced my fair share of childish boys telling me I couldn't game or asking me to show them my breasts. Despite having male friends who had tried to set me up countless times, none of their attempts had ever worked. Maybe I was just picky, or perhaps it was because I tended to switch off whenever a man started explaining Grand Theft Auto to me. My mom was desperate for me to find someone and give her grandchildren, although I couldn't understand why she complained when my sister seemed to be popping out kids left and right.

"Oh, really? My voice is sexy, huh?" Alex said, his voice dangerously seductive.

"Oh no, you're getting a big head, what a shame," I giggled, hearing Alex laugh along.

"So, what do you look like, Jessica?" I gulped, surprised that he wasn't immediately asking for a photo.

"Um, what do I look like?" I asked myself, suddenly unsure.

"You don't know what you look like?" I heard the amusement in Alex's voice, and I covered my face with my hand.

"I'm blind," I said seriously. Alex burst out laughing, and his laughter was so contagious that I couldn't even hear him speak through it. Even though we had only spoken for twenty-four hours, it seemed like all he did was make me laugh. I loved it. His laughter made my heart flutter with excitement.

"If we hadn't met through a game, I would actually believe that. Jessica, you crack me up. So, what color is your hair then?"

"Naturally, it's brown, but right now, it's more of a rose gold kind of color."

"I have no idea what rose gold is," Alex's words made me burst into laughter, and I turned to lie on my other side.

"It's like a dark pinkish color," I giggled. "And I have kind of blue, grayish eyes."

"Are you white?"

"Yeah, boring English. What about you?" I closed my eyes, getting ready to listen to him describe himself.

"I'm not white. My parents are Malawian. My eyes are hazel, I suppose, or a really nice brown," Alex chuckled at his own description. "I have short hair, kind of shaved. Does that interest you?" My cheeks immediately turned bright pink. It certainly interested me, very much so.

"It does. So, tell me, why are you single?" Now that I had his description, I knew he had to be attractive. That, coupled with his sexy voice, confirmed it.

"Probably because I work and then game," he chuckled before taking a deep breath. "It's a bit of a madness. I don't want to burden you too much." I sat up, worry setting in as I spoke.

"What do you mean?" I could hear the panic in my own voice.

"Don't hang up on me," he said, his voice serious. My stomach dropped.

"Of course not. What is it?"

"I got out of prison about six months ago. I served six years," my mouth suddenly became incredibly dry, and my brain scrambled for something to say.

Prison? Alex had just gotten out of prison?

"Oh," was all I could manage.

"Yeah, that usually scares women off," he sounded sad, and I tried to pick up my voice.

"What did you do? If you don't mind me asking," I blurted out.

"Drugs. I sold them, I didn't use them. Are you going to run away from me now?" I appreciated Alex's honesty, even though we had only just started talking, disregarding the three months of messages we exchanged.

"No," I said firmly, meaning every word. "Are you on the right path now?" I tried to inject some humor into the conversation. I felt a sense of relief as Alex laughed.

"Of course," he replied, although it didn't sound entirely convincing. "I have a good job now, thanks to a friend who helped me out. Thankfully, my offense wasn't violent, so things are okay," Alex's voice took on a serious tone. "So, no girlfriends during my six years in there."

"That must have been incredibly tough," I responded, lying back down.

"Yeah, I suppose. What's even tougher is trying to figure out the outside world. It's probably why I game so much. I don't have to leave the house then," I giggled.

"Agreed. That's my favorite part about gaming too," and it was true. As an introvert at heart, I cherished the ability to socialize from the comfort of my own home.

"How did you manage to land this job? You're so lucky," Alex exclaimed, a hint of happiness in his voice.

"I pursued game development. I've always had a passion for video games. During my time at university, I had the opportunity to do work experience at Backstreets, and fortunately, they offered me a job afterward," I replied.

"Do you enjoy it?" he asked.

"I absolutely love it. However, it's not just about playing games; there's a lot of numbers and data involved. Sometimes, I feel like I need to step out of the house though," I chuckled, not entirely convinced myself.

"Would you like to come to Liverpool?" His intonation turned flirty, causing my heart to race as I closed my eyes.

"I would love to, but I don't really have a reason to go there," I responded.

"What the heck?" I burst into laughter at his remark. "Shut up, would you come to London to see me?" he asked.

"Of course. I'm not sure if I'm allowed due to probation, but I can find out!" Alex laughed.

"I would like to see your photo," I blurted out.

"Really?" Alex's voice took on a low tone, simultaneously exciting and making me nervous. If he shared a photo with me, I would have to reciprocate, right? I wracked my brain to see if I already had a photo I liked.

"Yes," I breathed out.

"Sasha, you're quite forward," he chuckled, and I blushed bright pink.

"Sorry," I whispered, feeling like a complete idiot.

"Forget it, I'm just teasing. Video call me," he suggested, and I sat up, my heart pounding.

"Now?" I muttered.

"Why not? Or do you need to wait for your boyfriend to leave?” He chuckled again and I rolled my eyes

"Be quiet. Alright." I got out of bed and hurriedly walked over to my mirror. Did I look presentable? I had taken off my makeup, but my hair was naturally set and with the lamp on in my room, I thought I looked okay.

"End the call, I'll call you back," Alex said.

"Okay," I exhaled, pressing the red button. I sat back on my bed, adjusting my tank top. I wasn't wearing a bra, but I didn't think you could tell. My whole body jolted as my phone rang again. I sat up uncomfortably, hoping this was the best angle, and took a deep breath. Holding my phone in front of me, I pressed the green button. It took a minute to load, and I let out my breath as Alex appeared on my screen. Damn, he was attractive. His skin was a beautiful brown, flawless even, and he had a wide smile that made my body tingle pleasantly when I noticed his gold tooth next to his front tooth. He had a bad boy vibe, and it was turning me on. I tried to squeeze my legs together for some friction as he finally spoke.

"Hey, you didn't mention how cute you are," I smiled like a maniac, looking down from shyness.

"You failed to mention that you're also very cute," I whispered, looking back up at him.

"I'm glad you think so," Alex's smile hadn't faded, and it made me grin.

"You have a beautiful smile," I told him.

"Thank you, are you sure you're the same person I chatted with online? You were never this nice," he said, and I burst out laughing.

"Yes, it's me, and I was flirting with you like crazy, so don't try it," Alex laughed, and I rolled my eyes at him. "You were? Well, it's been a while since a woman flirted with me, so that's on me. I like your top. No bra?"

I nearly choked on his words as he laughed, placing his hand on his head. "I didn't think you could tell," I said, looking down, feeling my cheeks burn.

"Oh, I can definitely tell. Let me see them," he said.

"What?" I stuttered.

"Your breasts, let me see them," his boldness caught me off guard, and shyness washed over me.

"I'm shy," I whispered.

"Don't be, I know they're beautiful," I looked down, my shyness still there. "Okay, let me take my top off then," I looked up as Alex removed his top, moving back so I could see his impressive chest. I instinctively bit my bottom lip. God, he was stunning. Clearly, working out in prison did wonders for him, and every muscle was defined. I stared harder at the tiny screen as I noticed a deep scar running from his stomach to his right pec.

"Where did you get that scar?" I asked, instantly regretting it.

"Prison," he simply said, and I nodded. "Now your turn," his expression was mischievous, and I took a deep breath. I definitely wasn't ready for this, but I didn't want Alex to think I was some kind of loser.

"Um," I muttered, my heart pounding in my chest. I watched Alex's face, but I couldn't gauge what he was thinking, and fear gripped me. He must have thought I was pathetic.

"What's wrong?" he chuckled slightly. I ran my hand over my duvet, my shyness refusing to leave.

"I don't know," I responded honestly. Alex let out a breath, which did nothing to ease my anxiety. He went to speak, but I jumped in first. "Sorry, I'm not as brave as you," I whispered.

Alex laughed, running his hand down his face. "Don't apologize. It's okay," I nodded at his words, though I didn't quite believe them.

"I just..." I didn't know what to say. I wanted to talk to him more before anything like this happened.

"You just?" His voice remained soft, calming me.

"Can we talk first?" I felt stupid but smiled back at him.

"Of course. Sorry, I'm thinking with my dick," I burst out laughing, my hand covering my face. "Sorry, Jessica, I feel bad now," I looked at the tiny screen, seeing his guilt, and grinned at him.

"I'll flash you," I giggled.

"What?" his voice was high-pitched as I held my phone in my left hand. "You don't have to do that, seriously. Did I pressure you?"

I shook my head.

"I apologize. Did I make you feel pressured?" I shook my head, assuring him that he hadn't. But deep down, I felt insecure. Alex was the most attractive person I had ever spoken to, and it was overwhelming. I wished I looked better, with longer hair, narrower hips, and less noticeable lips. Alex demanded, "Jessica, talk to me." I sighed and whispered, "You're very attractive. I don't measure up." Alex burst into laughter, covering his eyes. "Stop it. Seriously, stop it now. You are beautiful. Come on," he rolled his eyes, and I took a deep breath. I quickly lifted the bottom of my tank top with my right hand, tearing it up, and then blushed as I put it back down. "Happy?" I asked, showing my phone. "Very happy. Damn, Jessica, I can't imagine all the men you compete against not knowing how beautiful you are." I giggled, keeping my head down. "I think if they knew I was a woman, they wouldn't want to compete against me anymore." "Is that why you hide that you're a woman?" I raised an eyebrow at Alex as he chuckled. "I suppose. I'm tired of guys trying to school me on games that I've helped develop." "Wow, that's quite a humble brag," he laughed and lay down. "Your breasts are beautiful. I want to see all of you," Alex breathed out, making my heart race. "You do?" I nervously asked. "Of course. At this point, I'd pay for you to get a cab to Liverpool," I laughed and tried to lay down myself. Once I got comfortable, I looked at the screen again. Alex was biting his plump bottom lip, making me weak in the knees. "Tell me what you like," his voice was seductive, and my panties became soaked. "You mean sexually?" I asked, keeping my eyes on him. "Yeah, tell me what you enjoy. Are you into rough or romantic?" "Um..." I had no idea how to answer this question. I had only been intimate with three people before, and none of it was mind-blowing. "I don't know," I muttered. "You don't know? You've had sex, right?" His voice was gentle, and it made me smile. "Yeah, nothing amazing. I guess I just don't know yet. Why don't you go first?" I hoped to get some inspiration from him. "Hmm, I asked the question, yet I don't know my own answer," he chuckled, and I rolled my eyes at him. "I want to say rough. Looking at you now, I would love to ravish you, my hand around your throat." "Damn," I breathed out, feeling more aroused than I'd like to admit. "Oh, you like that image, huh?" I blushed bright red and ran my hand through my hair. "Maybe," I giggled. "Whatever you want. I would love for you to pleasure me first," I rolled onto my back, my clit throbbing. "Alex, god!" I said, laughing. "You don't want to?" He asked, and I nodded. I definitely wanted to. "Well then, I need to have a serious talk with probation because I need to see you." I burst out laughing, holding my hand over my chest. "You are so straightforward," I laughed out loud. "Sorry, am I making you uncomfortable? I just said I hope I wasn't pressuring you, and now I said that," he tried to laugh, covering his face. "No, you're not, I promise," Alex was doing quite the opposite. "Good, tell me if I am. I don't really have a filter, and I'm amazed by how beautiful you are. I need to cum on those tits as soon as possible." "Alex!" I shouted, sitting up. "Sorry, sorry. I can't help myself," he was cracking up, lying on his side. "It's a compliment, I promise." I smiled at him as I lay back down. "I need to go to bed," I said sadly, and Alex groaned. "I'll call you tomorrow. We'll pick up where we left off." He asked, and I nodded, trying to wipe the huge smile off my face. "Yes, please." "Okay, I'll call you earlier, and be prepared to pleasure yourself because I'm going to take you there tomorrow." "Stop, you're such a pervert," I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, I know. Goodnight, Jessica." "Goodnight, Alex."
