The Mansion

Grace's POV

My eyes scanned my surrounding and like lightning, it hit me and I recalled where I was. I groaned as I sat upright. I was damn hungry, that was exactly what woke me up. The last food I ate was the one Helen had fed me with.

Looking through the curtain, I noticed it was morning already. That doctor, I told him I didn't want to sleep. I wonder how Helen was able to sleep without me by her side.

I got up from the bed and headed to the door at the side which I guess was the bathroom, and I guessed right.

After a while, I came out and made my way out of the room. The men were still standing there,

Don't these people sleep? A break, maybe.

I thought they'll stop me as I began to walk past the corridor, but they didn't. They only stood by each side like a statue. I slowly walked out of the corridor and saw myself in a very large living room.

“Wow,” I exclaimed. This is a palace, mansion, castle, a big one at that.

Slowly, I walked around the place. There was no one in sight,
