Chapter 5 (Agreement)

After a week...

Lisa's family along with Jennie's family went to the restaurant to talk regarding the decision of making Jennie and Lisa the legal guardian of baby Caiden. Mr. Davis is also there.

They are in a restaurant that offers a private room for their customers to enjoy a private conversation.

Jennie and Lisa's parents greeted happily.

"Good day Mr. and Mrs. Lane, I'm George Delaney, the founder of DL clothing enterprise" Mr. Delney shook hands with Mr. Lane " This is my wife Hana and my daughter, Lisa "

" Nice to meet you too Mr. and Mrs. Delaney, I'm Earl Lane, the director of LANE shoe company.. this is my wife Riana and my daughter, Jennie Lane"

" We should collaborate someday," Mr. Delaney said

" That would be a great idea," Mr. Lane said and the two men laughed enjoying their conversation.

"We should start talking about your decision if you agree your child to be the legal guardian or parents of baby Caiden," Mr. Davis said

" I think there's no need to talk about this any further because we agree to make our daughters the legal guardian of the baby," Mr. Lane said

" We also agree... " Mr. Delaney said

" So it's settled! " Mr. Davis said. And given the papers for Lisa and Jennie to sign. After signing the papers they started to eat their ordered food.

"Wouldn't this be a great start for the DL Clothing and the LANE shoe company partnership? " Mr. Lane asked

" We should do it soon, the sooner the better," Mr. Delaney said, and as their fathers enjoy their conversation about their businesses.

Jennie and Lisa face palmed their selves in their mind because their parents talking about businesses instead of talking about what and how will things work, now that they are now the legal guardian of baby Caiden.

While eating Jennie and Lisa suddenly had eye contact and Jennie frowned and Lisa smirked.

" So Jennie are you going to live at my place? " Lisa asked. Jennie was about to refuse and insist that they would take turns in taking care of the baby in their own houses of course.

" That's a good idea, Lisa, you and Jennie should live together," Mr. Lane said

"Dad... " Jennie said then Lisa chuckled then received a death glare from Jennie.

" I'll help her fix her stuff and get her to move to your place tomorrow. " Mrs. Lane said

" Baby Caiden can be taken from the hospital today," Mr. Davis said. " He's been staying there for a month now.. I'll inform the hospital so they could give the baby to you "

" We should buy baby things first," Jennie said

"Don't worry Ms. Jennie, Ms. Irene already bought all the things needed by baby Caiden... I'll just ask someone to send the baby things to Ms. Lisa's house later" Mr. Davis said.

" Well you two should get baby Caiden at the hospital while we ready the baby things," Mrs. Delaney said " Lisa, is your password the same? "

"Yeah mom," Lisa said

" Can you give me your address Lisa so I can send Jennie's things to your place later? " Mrs. Lane asked and gave her phone. Lisa typed her address and gave back Mrs. Lane her phone back.

" Mom I thought I'll be moving there tomorrow. " Jennie asked

" It's better if you could move there today, so you two better go now and get the baby," Mrs. Lane said and the two latter left their parents and got out of the restaurant and went to the parking lot.

" Grhhh! I don't want to live with you! " Jennie whined. " We should've taken turns in taking care of the baby in our own houses! You dumb ass "

" Don't worry I won't do anything but irritate you all day " Lisa said and laughed and earned a strong hit at the arm from Jennie " Ouch! "

" Shut up! " Jennie said and went inside the car of Lisa.

They went to the hospital and took the month-old baby. They asked for tips from the nurses and noted them. Lisa let Jennie carry the baby while they are heading home.

Jennie couldn't keep her smile while carrying the baby.

" He looks beautiful... " Jennie said while holding the little hand of baby Caiden.

" He looks a lot like Irene so much," Lisa said and sigh. " So now our problem is how can we take good care of that baby?.. We need to go to school tomorrow.. "

" We should hire a babysitter. " Jennie said

"So we will bring him tomorrow at school Until we hire a babysitter ?" Lisa asked " You take care of him tomorrow, I'm not good at taking care of babies "

" What?! No! You should help me! " Jennie said and Lisa sighed
