The D-day I

Kayla was just lulling her baby to sleep when an incoming call came in.

She picked it up at the third ring.

"Hello!" She spoke up.

"Your voice didn't change," Ivy said at the other end, smiling.

"Please who....," Kayla halted when she finally recognized the voice. She glanced at her phone screen and returned it to her ear.

"Ivy!" She called, hoping it was really her sister.

"You should learn to put some respect next time, Kayla. I am still your...,"

Kayla hung up angrily before she could complete her statement.

She flung her phone to the bed and sat on it, breathing uneasily.

Tears welled up in her eyes.

Ivy's call came in again almost immediately.

"Where are you?" Kayla asked as soon as she picked it up.

"Hmm! Dillon's mansion," She answered and before you could add another statement, Kayla hung up.

Kayla jumped on Ivy when she got to Dillon's house. The sisters cried together for a long time until they were calm.
