CHAPTER 4 [PART 1] : VIP MEETING

"Mommy! Aunt Trina was so slow!" My daughter shouted inside of our room. "Don't put makeup on your face because we will go swimming, it will disappear too, Aunt Trina." 

"Duh, this is waterproof makeup made in Italy! Not cheap like your mom's makeup." Trina's auspicious answer to my daughter, a reason why Viela called me again stressful because of her. 

"Mommy!" Viela shouted again.

I can't blame Viela because we were in a hurry to put our things in the bag but Trina still had time to do her makeup. Sir Hyxen has a meeting at a VIP resort and of course I need to be there because I am his secretary. And Viela wanted to come, that's why she forced Trina to come with us because I told her that she can't come unless Trina will say yes. I couldn't take her with me unless someone was there to take care of her or watch her because I wasn't going there for vacation, it was for work. I can't work properly if I was thinking about her every second.

The person that sir Hyxen command to pick us here at our apartment is already on the outside, so even Viela is panicking like me. And at the same time, we would not be in this situation if I just read the email on time. I thought it was 9AM in the morning at the time where we will leave but when I saw the email it changed to 7AM. And it was right because the person who will pick us up is already outside at exactly 7AM. Sir Hyxen is not with us because he was already at the resort. He did go first. 

I looked at our wall clock. "Oh shoot! It's almost 8 AM, Trina and Viela move out of the room! We need to go!"

After I got the bags that I was going to carry, I approached the door to knock on them to get out because we were already late. I was surprised when Viela was pulling the ears of her aunt Trina when they moved out. Trina was begging my daughter to take off her hand on her ears but Viela didn't listen. And so I put down the bag and I am the one who took off the little hands of my daughter to her. I couldn't stop laughing when I saw the irritation on Trina's face. She was even holding an eyeliner in her right hand. She is not done with her makeup and so I now understand why Viela pulled her like that.

Trina pointed to her right eye that doesn't have eyeliner yet, but the left one does. I saw too how she was patiently not to beat my daughter.

"Bleeh!" Viela makes her tongue out to tease Trina more. 

"Your daughter Yanie!" Trina snorted and pointed at my daughter like she was so bullied because of that. 

"That's okay! You are already pretty good! Come on, I'm going to be late!" I took all the two bags that I put down including the bag that Viela was holding and gestured to my daughter to pull Trina again. 

We left the apartment together and got into the car that it's been waiting for us for an hour. It's better that we didn't have Sir Hyxen with us going to the resort because of our slowness and some silly argument. 

The resort we were going to was quite close so we arrived immediately in less than an hour. When we got out of the car the staff of the resort immediately took our belongings. Viela looked around in amazement while we were walking inside of the resort. I'm glad because I was able to get Viela out somehow. When I looked at Trina she continued to put on makeup on her face while she was at our back. I just let her do what she wanted, she was already old, so I came closer to my daughter and held her hand and pointed to the children playing near the sea.

"You want to play like them? Or swim?" I asked her, smiling. 

She looked at me and nodded gently. "Yes! I want it mommy!"

"Okay, later but now let's find sir Hyxen first." I spoke and pinched her cheeks. 

She even giggled when I did that. We were just following the girl staff in front of us because she was the one who would take us to sir Hyxen. I can't stop from looking amazed about this beautiful place. I miss going and having a vacation, it's been a long time since I went to a resort like this. My eyes were focused on the scenery in front of us, not until the staff stopped in front of one of the restaurants here and gestured us to move inside. I nodded and smiled at the staff to thank her by assisting us before going inside. 

When we were already inside the two staff at the side immediately greeted us. We just nodded at them and my stares turned into sir Hyxen who was sitting alone at a long table with a lot of food. I already expected that this place would be occupied by us only because I am the one calling this resort to rent it for a whole day. This will be the venue of the meeting too because this is the biggest and authentic restaurant here at the resort. 

I pulled Trina's hand like a kid because she was too far at us before walking closer to sir Hyxen. While Viela was smiling so big and jumping while walking that made me stressed a little, I was like I was taking care of my two kids. 

"What is this date? Did I belong here? It's like a family date." Trina teasingly pitched the side of my tummy.

I slapped her hand to stop her and gestured to her to be quiet. Mostly that sir Hyxen's face can't draw anymore, I don't know if he was mad because I was late or that was his resting face so when we were already in front of him, I immediately apologized.

"I'm sorry sir Hyxen, we are late. I just read the change of departure time in the morning. I'm really sorry." I apologize but I think he doesn't care because his stares turned on my daughter.

My eyebrows meet because I feel disrespected. It's like I'd rather be scolded than be ignored like that. And why was I feeling like this in the first place?

"Hi." He greeted my daughter.

My daughter waved her hand still having a big smile walking towards him. "Hello, Mr. Sebastian! Is this for us? All of this?" Viela was pointing at the food on the table.

And that's another thing, sir Hyxen doesn't want me to call him Mr. Sebastian but he was letting it when it comes to Viela. He nodded at my daughter and lifted her to sit beside him. 

"Don't be jealous, she is your daughter." Trina whispered when she noticed the misgrace on my face.

I looked at her badly. "Who the hell said to you that I am jealous? That word is only for the weak and I do not belong to that."

I rolled my eyes and sat down beside my daughter because I was already hungry too. I want to start to eat. Trina also sat next to me and didn't say anything anymore and took something that she wanted to eat.

"This one, this was delicious." I gave pasta to Viela's plate because I know she loves white pastas.

"Thank you mommy!" She smiled at me.

I just nodded and took what I wanted to put on my plate. I choose the vegetable salad, it's not just because I am on a diet. It just looked delicious, mostly the sauce. I was putting some more sauce on my salad when I stopped because of Trina. Trina didn't hesitate to offer sir Hyxen like he was her friend for a very long time. Sir Hyxen is aware that Trina is with me because I said Viela will come but not like this. 

"You want to try this one? It's delicious!" Trina offered the beef steak to sir Hyxen.

I slowly looked at sir Hyxen. He looked at the food that Trina offered but ended up looking at his plate again and ate. In short, he rejected it. I looked at Trina and I wanted to laugh so loud when her smile suddenly turned fake.

"Me! Aunt Trina, I want it!' Viela asked her aunt Trina when she noticed that sir Hyxen rejected it.

Trina turned her stares to my daughter instead and put Viela's plate before placing the food back on the table. I was refraining myself to laugh or smile because of Trina's face when I started eating. I felt Trina close her seat at me and whispered. 

"I already know the feeling, it's not jealousy, it's irritating." Trina whispered while chewing hardly.

I smiled mischievously at her. "I told you, better luck next time."

"I will never do that again," she shook her head thinking about how she got rejected. 

Before I couldn't stop myself from being just normal I elbowed her to adjust her seat back and just eat. I don't want sir Hyxen to notice that we are talking about him. It's good because she did what I said. We eat quietly, only my daughters are the ones who are talking and sometimes sir Hyxen answers it. 

Sir Hyxen didn't take too long here because after he ate he left us here and told me that the meeting will happen at 2PM so I need to change and be ready. When sir Hyxen left we just stayed for a minute to eat the dessert before going to our room where the staff put our things. While walking to our room Viela wanted to pull me to the sea but it's not a good idea because I already had 25 minutes to dress myself. I don't want to go back to the restaurant wearing wet clothes and a haggard face, it was too embarrassing even though it was a beach.

When we reached our room I changed Viela's outfit immediately before dressing myself. Only them can enjoy this resort because I can't. I'm really jealous because Trina can enjoy it with my daughter. Maybe next time, for now I have to focus on work because it's also for Viela, my daughter's future. 

"Come here, I will put a sunscreen on you." I took the sunscreen from the bag and called Viela.

She immediately came to me when she heard it because she loves putting sunscreen on her body. She is wearing pink swimwear and holding her purple hat and shade that I bought for her. She sat on the bed so I started putting lotion on her.

"Don't go far unless aunt Trina is at your side, okay?" I remind her because I was scared that she will go to the deep part. "Just stay at the side of aunt Trina, this is a beach. Don't be hot headed and always listen, okay? Mommy will be scared and cry if we can't find you again."

She caressed my cheek with both her hands. "I won't make you cry, so I won't go away to aunt Trina, mommy! Promise!"

She snorted asking a kiss from me so I smiled and kneel down closer to her lips and kiss her. She giggled when our lips touched each other. I can't stop pinching her cheeks because of her cuteness before continuing to apply sunscreen.

When it's done I put it back in my bag and pony my hair in one. But my concentration by fixing my hair stopped when Trina moved out wearing a bikini. Me and my daughter looked at her aunt Trina with amusement. Trina was wearing glasses and a hat already even though we are still inside. 

"What do you think?" She took off her shade and looked at me and my daughter, pointing out her overall look.

My daughter and I looked at each other. I know Viela already know what I wanted her to do. I let Viela spoke first.

"Your shades are pretty like mine, Aunt Trina!" Viela wears her glasses and points them. 

"Yeah, it was so nice. Where did you bought it? I want one too for my daughter." I added to make Trina more irritated.

Trina pouted because of what we just noticed. "Really? The only thing you saw was my shades? I hate you both!" 

Viela and I laughed. Viela immediately hugged Trina on both of her legs.

"Aunt Trina was so pretty! Pretty so much!" Viela spoke with her little voice that made Trina smile again and hugged her back.

I came closer and hug both of them.

"Aunt Trina was so pretty! Pretty so much!" I mocked my daughter's voice a reason why Viela instantly looked at me badly.

"Mommy!" She scolded me, pouting. 

Trina and I laughed at the end while Viela was snorting. Viela is good at teasing but she's too picky when she already the one who being teased. 

We went out as soon as we finished getting ready. When I saw that I still had 10 minutes I went with them until we reached the sea closely because somehow if I can't feel it, just looking at the waves and water closer is already okay with me. Viela started walking closer to the waves of water and playing with it so I tapped Trina's shoulder because I needed to leave and go back to the restaurant. I only have 2 minutes, the restaurant is a little bit far. 

"I need to go, take care of her, Trina. I don't want to hear from you again that she was missing." I strongly instructed her, I even pointed at her.

She hit my hand so that I put down my pointing hand directly from her face.

"Duh, even me, I don't want that to happen so chill. I will give all my eyes to her.'' She gave me an assurance before going to Viela's place and with her. 

That's why I didn't bother them anymore and left. I need to hurry back to the restaurant because I was already earlier, I can't be late again. I don't want sir Hyxen to think that I am abusing him just because he is close to Viela. I walk and run fast. 

I entered the restaurant having a hard breath because of the way I came here as fast as I could. My knees became weaker when I saw sir Hyxen's stare. He is already here? I wanted to refrain his stares so I bowed a little while approaching him just stood beside him. He was just standing so I just copied him because it looks like he doesn't have a plan to sit down even though there are a lot of chairs here. 

I feel more awkward because It's just the two of us and two staff members are here. The person we are waiting for is not here yet. 

"You are late again." He uttered and slowly turned his head on me while both his hands were on his pants pocket.

I looked at my watch. I am only two minutes late, I do run just to be here immediately! 

"I'm sorry sir Hyxen…" instead of defending my reason I choose to apologize. 

I rolled my eyes secretly at him. "It was only two minutes and Mr. Theodore is still not here .... " I whispered talking about the presence of the person he needed to meet but I didn't expect that he would hear it.

I forgot that he was just too close. 

"It's still late." He said with emphasis that it makes me close my mouth using my hand. "I told you that you should be here before 2PM, but it's already after 2PM."

I couldn't help but raise my eyebrows and frown secretly. Why is he so mad now? He is mad for that 2 minutes? His real personality came out just because Viela was not here. He is so plastic! 

"I'm sorry sir Hyxen...." before getting annoyed, I apologized again.

"I didn't pay you just to say sorry… " He let out a deep breath and wanted to scold me more when the door opened, getting our attention.

An elderly man moved in and I assured that it was Mr.Theodore. He was with a woman and it was obvious that the woman next to him was like me, a secretary to him. When it comes to looks, it is obvious that Sir Hyxen's age is far from Mr. Theodore. He is already old. Only the way he dresses himself and the aura he has makes him a little bit younger.

When they already in front of us, Mr. Theodore offered his hand to sit Hyxen. Sir Hyxen accepted it with no expression on his face. I want to scold him for being so unprofessional. He didn't even give even just a little smile to Mr. Theodore! I was scared that Mr. Theodore pull back the contract he want to offer to him because of sir Hyxen's personality. Instead of probleming about it, I looked at Mr.Theodore's secretary. I smiled at her genuinely but he just gave me a rude expression. If I was not just thinking that this is a serious meeting, I already poked her eye out! It's annoying, I smiled at her politely and she gave me rolling eyes! She is not a rollercoaster!

"Let's sit and so we can start." Sir Hyxen gestured Mr. Theodore to sit.

When Mr. Theodore and his secretary sat down, we sat down next too. I was just sitting quietly while listening to them and taking notes on the important details.

Mr. Theodore wants to give shares in sir Hyxen's company in exchange of being partners in the event that will happen next month because there is a big competition of all the biggest companies here. And Mr. Theodore smart by doing that. It is obvious that he wants to make sure sir Hyxen sign the contract the way that he even presents a presentation and a lot of papers on their company to offer. 

The meeting is okay and they were having a good conversation because Mr. Theodore was answering all of the questions of sir Hyxen as easily. Not until I felt something strange under the table. When I looked it, one of the feet of Mr. Theodore is slightly touching my legs. When I looked at him, he was having a little smirk on his face while sir Hyxen is busy looking and reading the contract. I am already feeling uncomfortable with the way he looks and acts and so I move my chair a little bit. Mr. Theodore looking at me secretly everytime he done answering sir Hyxen's question. I want to kick it but I don't want to have any trouble. 

Until I accidentally hit the glass of water on my side from being uncomfortable. The glass broke, and I was about to touch it to clean it when sir Hyxen stopped me with his hand and let the two staff to clean it.

"Your secretary is clumsy," Mr. Theodore was seductively smiling looking down at my breast that was wet from the water. "But I think it's kinda good..."

When Mr. Theodore said I quickly put my both hands to cover it. Sir Hyxen noticed that my inner clothes were already visible and so he offered me a tissue. I want to get it from his hand but my brows go up when he grips it tight and so I can't get it. I looked at him confused because I don't know why he is offering me a tissue but doesn't want to give it too but when I noticed that he was not looking at me, I didn't help to look where he was looking at. 

That was the time that I saw that the cloth that covered the table was torn because of me panicking when the glass of water broke. Sir Hyxen was looking at the feet of Mr. Theodore that until now slightly touched my legs. 

"Stop that…" Sir Hyxen said calm but deadly warned.
