Chapter 13 Meeting His Father.

"I can see you kept to your word," Dexter says standing before his car while his men carry our bags inside one of the many cars already lined up.

Without a doubt, I understand that it's my fault for his lack of trust, but I'm getting a bit irritated being reminded all the time.

Squeezing my face, I led my boys who are a little hostile and bearing frowns on their face to the car.

Ash stares daggers at Dexter the moment their eyes meet and Dexter just stares back at him with the same energy until Ash gives up and walks away. Truly, their resemblance is impeccable in many ways.

"Did you get any bright ideas last night," Dexter asks, grabbing hold of Neo's and Ash's things from my hand.

I roll my eyes, stomping my feet angrily behind Dexter as I complain, "I told you, I wasn't planning to run away, so enough with reminding me."

He tosses their things at the trunk and closes it, turning abruptly that I'm taking back by how close we are and losing balance, my ankle twists breaking my heels
