“Jarren, you promised,” Jillie stated as we pulled up to her parent’s house.
There were more cars than I thought it would be, but I had prepared myself for much more. Maybe Teya did take what I said into consideration after all. I parked the car before getting out and heading around to Jillie’s side. I took her hand and led the way up to the door. We bypassed knocking and walked straight inside. There were voices coming from the kitchen as we made our way towards it.
“Jillie!” Teya exclaimed, rushing to us. She all but knocked me out of the way to get to Jillie. Of course, everyone else in the room thought that was hilarious.
