Paula's p.o.v

For a few days, I did my best to avoid Henry, and for some reason he just let me be. I was very grateful to him but I also felt lonely. I seriously had no strength of arguing with him over useless issues, all I wanted to do was move on.

I sighed sadly then stood still in the garden admiring the beautiful red roses in front of me. They somehow reminded me of Henry, he looked very handsome and breathtaking. But the more you got closer to him and dared to touch him, the more he hurt you like thorns.

 "They are beautiful aren't they?" a familiar voice asked behind startling me.

I quickly turned and faced Adrean who was smiling. He was in his usual clothes but this time his hair was tied in a ponytail.

I cleared my throat then frowned at his informal speech towards me.

He raised a brow then bowed slightly.
