Like a city ravaged by the wraith of plague, I've become a shadow of my former self, desperate to avoid the pack's scorn.

Since the full moon, I've been a prisoner in my room, too afraid to venture out after the tense encounter with one of the maids in the kitchen.

The pack's animosity towards me is palpable, and what's more, the Alpha's indifference cuts deepest of all. His silence and disregard for my well-being have become a constant reminder of my precarious position within the pack.
