3 Months Later:

Delilah's POV:

"I am really getting concerned about you, Delilah," I heard Xee behind me.

I looked over my shoulder and found him with a tray in his hands, "Why is that?"

He placed the tray holding a glass of milk and cookies on the coffee table and walked over to my desk, "Because for the last 3 months, you've been working nonstop."

I let out a soft chuckle, "Now you are exaggerating."

His eyebrow quivered higher, "No, I am not. Can't remember the time when I've not seen you hunched up on the desk, sticking your nose in all those books, jotting down your notes, and whatnot."
