Chapter 9: Help me

Selene dressed up after taking her bath and awaited the head maid to call her out of the room. After waiting several times in the room, she was surprised when she didn't see any of the maids come to call her.

She sits on the bed, waiting patiently for the head maid, but none of them come for several minutes. She was already mastering the palace structure, just in case she wanted to. escape one day. She already plans to do the same today with the hope of not getting caught since the guards are mostly busy during the day.

She heard someone knocking on the door, and she quickly rushed to open it. Instead of seeing the head maid or any other maids, three maids stood behind the door and bowed their heads to greet her.

“Good morning, Milady,” they chorused at once, their heads still lowered. Selene was shocked by their sudden special treatment. She was shocked; maybe they already missed their ways because she recognized some of the maids treating her badly yesterday and the day before.
