Ch.3 Drama n’ Games

Alexandra Lawrence POV:

Saturday 18 June

" Why is math so hard - Ugh" Amber groaned, Amber and I were in the library studying for our upcoming Calculus and analysis test that we will be having on Tuesday. It's been a whole month that we've been in Julliard and damn- it has been a rollercoaster! I made new friend's in the dorms and no I am still the nerd but unlike in my other school, people respected that and praise me because I'm very smart. My mom and dad would be proud... Speaking of parents, I now and then call them but since I got homework and classes (a lot of homework) It's hard to juggle everything but, I still call them once in a while.

"Hey, what time is it?" I chuckled, "It's 4:30 PM, why?" I asked suspiciously but questionably "I have a date" She answered a little embarrassed "Who is this lucky dude huh!?" I questioned jokingly and nudged her shoulder chuckling a little, her face went fully red as a tomato now "His name is Leo…" I gave a questionable look telling her to go on "okay, okay - Leo Anderson, we met on my way back from the library a few weeks ago…" she finally answered, covering her face now.

Right after she mentioned I knew who she was talking about, I didn't want to tell her about him being Xander's roommate, he generally seems like a cool dude.

After the "incident" Amber had been a little overprotective, okay? TOO OVERPROTECTIVE! I swear she will turn down this Leo dude if I said they were roommates, and he seems like a nice dude and I don't want her to miss this chance to get a person like him, you know. Poor guy will need to go through MY APPROVAL AS WELL...

"Oh okay, can you say hi to him from me, I was planning to go to the gym!" I said, then continued, "USE PROTECTION!" I joked I soon regretted that when she started chasing me, we came to our dorm breathlessly we looked at each other and then started laughing. "I'm going to get ready, and yes we will use protection," she said, then took a cute dress and went into the bathroom.

I wore a black sports bra, black leggings, and a pair of matching black Nikes. I tied my hair into a high ponytail, with some strands of hair falling down my face. I grabbed my phone, a jacket, my AirPods, and some coffee from the mini-fridge. When I was done I went in the bathroom to say I was leaving and Amber was wearing the dress, and she looked hot, I don't know how any guy could reject her!

When I got to the gym near our campus, there weren't that many people. I placed down my things on a bench, I got out my AirPods connected to my phone gone on Spotify I played "16 Shots" by Stefflon Don. It was my favorite song in the playlist, called "Tequila Sunrise". I went on the treadmill and had been running there for about 30 mins, but it was more of a jog. After jogging, I put the speed a little higher, and it was like that for about 15 minutes until I decided to take a break.

I took my AirPods out of my ear and took a water break, I was checking what other people were doing I recognized some faces and then one of them stopped dead in my tracks.

He was… Here, Mr. Arrogant ass. He was doing some deadlifts, I can't help but look at his muscle, He's wearing gray shorts that reach his mid-thighs, Sweat drips down his chiseled body, and when he turns around I see that he has two big tattoos of leaves on his back, spreading horizontally on the back of each shoulder. There is another tattoo on his shoulder, but I can't make out what it is from this far away, His tank top and bag were on the floor.

Even from this distance, I see his piercing green eyes flashing at me. My throat runs dry, despite myself. He looks like a

Greek god. He smirked at me when he saw me staring at him and turned away to do some pull-ups.

Xander Black POV:

I usually come to the gym now and then to burn off some anger, but sometimes now and then Ms. bitch ass would be here. I was doing some deadlifts while hearing a playlist but currently playing was "16 Shots" by Stefflon Don it was my favorite song in the playlist called "Tequila Sunrise" it's my all-time go. But when I turned my back around, I saw the one and only. Ms Bitch ass staring at me.

I couldn't hold back a smirk, so I accidentally made eye contact and I can't help but think of her body figure when she confessed to me, that she looked nothing like this, she changed after the rejection but in a good way her personality also boosted up and there were some small changes I noticed like how when she has music in her ears she is more hard-working and competitive.

How that sports bra and leggings look on her is beautiful, but I could have better than that 5/10... but can I... was she even a 5/10 or an 11/10? My thoughts got cut when she turned away in embarrassment, and even from this distance, she had a little tint of redness on her cheeks.

Alexandra Lawrence POV:

I tore away from his eyes and proceed my way to the mats and start doing my normal routine: Leg press, Reverse bench crunches, elbow squeeze press, lying chest fly, etc. I was there for another hour and so and then I left, before I left I saw an Arrogant ass talking to a girl. Not surprised

When reached my dorm it was around 7:30 PM, sweat was dripping on my forehead, so I took a long hot shower and wore a sage-colored pair of hoodies and pants with a pair of white socks.

When I opened the door I bumped into someone, when I looked up I saw Amber in tears. "What happened!" I asked concerned "n-nothing, I just got 'stung by a bee'" when she said that I already knew what happened, [they have this girl language so stung by a bee means boy problems] her mascara was smudged on her face, her lipstick almost gone, her eyeliner and eyeshadow disappeared from her eyes like it was never there... "It was that damn Leo Anderson wasn't it?!" I mumbled to myself furiously.

After Amber finished showering and cleaned herself up I was a little calmer but how bad I want to punch Leo in the face how can someone even reject a girl like Amber she did not speak a word about it, but I had a feeling it was something like that.

We went to the common room, and it turns out today we were making lasagna me and Amber came halfway through, and we were all chatting while making lasagna, I was okay until Mr. Arrogant ass and Mr. Egoistic bitch came in, but Amber held me back before I killed them with the spoon in my hand. We finished and one of the girls suggested a movie night, and we all agreed.

We all finished the lasagna and decided to watch High School Musical 3 baby! I needed to go to the bathroom, so when I came back they started the start of the movie and the only place left to sit was beside Mister Arrogant Ass and his minion, so I had no choice but to sit next to him.

In the middle of the movie I kind of fell asleep, and I let my head tilt to the right, and It landed on a shoulder and I fell asleep, when my head landed on that shoulder I felt safe, secure, and comfortable it was hard but soft enough for it to be enjoyable, but I thought I slept on one of the girls that were beside me but... Yeah, you already know Xander!

I woke up on the couch there was a few other people as well, I felt something soft under my head, and then I realized that there was a pillow under me and a blanket on me. I stood up and went to my dorm, I saw Amber on the couch, but I let her sleep since I knew she was going through. I checked my phone, and It was around 7 AM.

I showered and wore a beige crop-top sweater with black jeans and decided to eat at that café me and Amber ate the first time we came here. I took my keys, phone, AirPods, and laptop for documents | and studying.

When I got in the little bell on top of the door jiggled, I found a place to sit and ordered those Japanese Strawberry Sando [strawberry sandwich] and a brown sure bubble tea for drinks and started my work.

When I got out of the café, it was around 11 AM, so I thought about going upstairs to see if Amber woke up yet and if she was ready to tell me what happened yesterday. I walked to the dorms and went to our floor, I got inside, and I saw them on the kitchen counter eating cereal; including Xander and his bitch. When I came in, in, in, everyone's eyes were on me...

"Um, hi?" I said in a curious voice "Where were you?!" Amber asked coming to me "I was at the café downstairs since everyone was sleeping" I answered calmly, everyone went back to their conversations including me and the girls.

I was talking to one of the girls named Aiko, and the head of our building came in and announced that there will be a public holiday the next day, then left. It was turning two, and it was raining outside, so we thought about cooking some Tacos.

It took us around 1 1/2 hours to finally make the Tacos but it was so good sadly it finished, and so we decided to play so fun ‘games’

We played a lot of games like a whisper, Tell me a secret, Monopoly, UNO, and now we are playing Truth or dare [I know classic] it was almost evening so after this game, we were probably going to play the last game before dinner; surprisingly the boys also joined us when we were playing Monopoly till now.

It was everybody's turn until it came to me. "Alex, truth or dare," Aiko asked me "Truth" I answered "Who is the hottest boy do you think is in this room, point to them," She said mischievously, I pointed at Xander "Even if I hate you with all my blood I'm not lying," I said truthfully I am a woman of my words. They continued with the rest of the people and now was the last game...

Spin. The. Bottle.

I HATED THE IDEA, but the girls forced me to play it, so I joined, Amber and I weren't that happy [more like nervous] but it was exciting, so it was cool I MEAN AMAZING all of my ships were sailing!

The bottle spun, and it landed on me, when I look and see who was the other person I froze...
